Stefan and Caroline were both worried about Layla. Although her and Caroline had never met she was starting to like the girl. Plus Stefan loved her.

If Layla was with Klaus that means she was in New Orleans. And if she was there, she was in trouble.

"Well she we go find her?" Stefan asks his blonde friend.

"We can't just leave with everything going on Elena will kill us." Caroline shook her head.

"She could be in trouble Caroline! Layla is my daughter, she's all i have left of Lexi. I can't loose her." Stefan had tears in his eyes at the near thought of loosing Layla.

Caroline crouched down, placing both hands on Stefan's knees. "You are not going to loose Layla, pack your bag for like 2 nights, i guess we are going to New Orleans."

Klaus had been smothering Layla, he didn't want to leave her side just in case the Claire witch made the earth shake again.

He had walked out of the room Elijah, Marcel and himself were discussing in Elijah following.

Hayley perked up and looked at Elijah as Layla pulled Klaus down to the nursery.

It was amazing, through everything going on. Layla and Klaus had gotten the nursery together. Layla had been adding special touches and Klaus had been painting.

"We need to think of a name Nik."

Klaus sighed. They had been trying for 2 weeks. But nothing came to mind. "Love, maybe we need to wait till the baby is born. Isn't there a thing where you know once you see her?"

"Well, yes...but! We need ideas, like what about...Stella?" Layla looks at Klaus as he grabs a book from the shelves.

"Nope, dealt with a witch named Stella, she gave me a headache." Klaus shook his head reading the book about a clown and a farm with animals.

"Okay then you give me one."

"Well....."

"Niklaus! Lets go?" Rebekah calls out.

"Thats my que. don't fall, okay love. I won't be there to save you." Klaus looked at Layla as she stood up. "Promise me Layla."

Layla smiled as she took Klaus's hand and he lead them out of the room. "I promise i won't try and fall. And if i do, one of the vampires will save me." A vampire near by turns his had and nods at the pair.

Layla had been nothing but kind to them, she was kind to everyone but she treated every vampire like a human not some robot. So of course they would save her when Klaus couldn't.

Klaus nods as he leans down and kisses her cheek, daringly close to the girls lips. "Be safe." Layla pushed Klaus away as she said that, making him laugh slightly.

Stefan had been in his room packing a bag. He was beyond worried about Layla. Lexi loved the girl. Seeing as she was Lexi's great niece or something.

As he walked down the stairs of the Salvatore boarding house he was met with Elena and Alaric. "Where the hell are you going?" Elena asked, mad that Stefan is leaving.

"Relax Elena, me and Caroline will be out of town for a couple of days. We'll be back soon." Just as he said that, Caroline opened the door calling out for Stefan. "Gotta go."

Stefan grabbed Caroline's hand and pulled her out to the car. He started the car and got ready for the road trip.

Layla had been alone in the compound. Well not alone alone but you know. She was sitting down playing uno with Leah. A vampire. When they both heard a car pull up and two people get out.

"Are you sure this is it?" A feminine voice calls out over the storm.

"This is where they said she would be." A male voice calls out as they run inside.

As they walk in they see at least 20 vampires all stand up and look at them. Immediately Stefan and Caroline put their hands up, not knowing what's going on.

"You need to leave." A male vampires states.

"Or we'll make you." Another male says.

"Ha! I win!" Stefan hears his best friend call out hearing a groan right after.

"Layla?" Stefan and Caroline call out grabbing the blondes attention.

Layla looks over and furrows her brows. "Stefan? Caroline?" Caroline nods. Layla gets up and moves forward. The female vampire she was playing with follows close behind. "Hey guys, it's alright. They won't hurt me."

Immediately all the vampires stand down and go back to what they were doing. "Are you okay?" Stefan asks as he goes to pull Layla into his arms but stops when he see's the baby bump she has. "Layla?"

"Yeah Stef?" Layla looks like a child who just got caught stealing cookies to Caroline. The younger blonde was amused by her face, Layla had this look as if her dad was scolding her. While Stefan did in fact look like a dad about to scold his daughter.

"What the hell did you do?"
