After walking through town for a bit, Kalawarner and Issei were approaching the Hyoudou Residence. While Issei was nervous to see his family again, Kalawarner was scared about meeting his parents. Issei gently squeezed Kalawarner's hand, smiling gently at her.
Issei: It will be okay. They will love you.
Kalawarner only had a faint smile, but nodded as Issei then knocked on the door. Soon, the door opened to reveal a woman that appeared to be in her 40s, had dark brunette hair, and some wrinkles that had defined a bit of aging. This was Issei's mom, Miki Hyoudou.

Miki: Can I help you?
Issei only chuckled and spoke.
Issei: Wow...I'm gone a few days, and you don't recognize your own son.
Miki widened her eyes as she spoke very faintly now.

Miki couldn't hold it in and hugged her son extremely tightly, causing a couple of bones to crack in Issei. He couldn't blame his mom, since he disappeared and was assumed dead. Miki's cries were heard by two more people: a man who looked in his mid 40s, brunette hair, and looked more aged than Miki, and a young girl with brunette hair. Both of them saw Miki hugging a young man tightly, as they didn't know it was Issei at first. These two were Issei's father Gorou, and his little sister Angel.
