private chat with Rosey Rose
Rosey Rose: dude?????
Flora Rora: hi :3
Rosey Rose: are you still with Lando? I haven't heard from you in ages
Flora Rora: ah yes
Rosey Rose: HOW?
Flora Rora: they have a race in Silverstone next weekend. Oh and Lando says hi btw👋🏼
Rosey Rose: so you are from England!!
Flora Rora: yes, I already told you so hahah
Rosey Rose: yeah but you could've easily said that just because
Flora Rora: no I've been honest about everything with you babes
Rosey Rose: so you actually grew up with him?
Flora Rora: yes yes I did, but I've just been idk pushing him away for years. I didn't think he'd come back.
Rosey Rose: Lando is not one to give up, specially when someone means something to him. Which btw I don't either. Are you joining the race this weekend?
Flora Rora: oh idk Rosey, cars and I don't really get along. Also I quite enjoy being alone and anonymous.
Rosey Rose: you're so weird. But I get what you mean. You could always go there and not let anybody know 🤷🏼♀️
Flora Rora: well you would know and Lando would know, since he'd be the one getting the pass... because he already got me... a pass.
Rosey Rose: DUDEEEEEEE, you HAVE to go
Flora Rora: schhhhh don't tell me what to dooooooo. Also I gtg, before my food gets cold

I can't even lie how much I've enjoyed spending the last couple of days with Lando. I have barely even looked at my phone, so I have no clue what's going on in the groupchat. Once in a while I'd catch Lando scrolling on it and chuckling a bit.
"Did you send that picture to Rose?" His chuckle softened into a smile.
"Yeah, why?" I locked my phone, putting it on the table.
"She just sent it to the group and all of them are trying to figure out where we're at" He put his phone down on the table and started eating.
"Do you think it's weird that I enjoy privacy?" I just burst out, like a thought I didn't mean to say out loud.
"Dude, if anything? Privacy is one of the most valued things out there. But you use it as a completely different reason than I." He sipped on his drink, raising one of his eyebrows a bit.
"What do you mean?" I said as I also started to sip on my drink. He sighed a bit.
"I value privacy because everything I do will somehow make its way to the public. You value privacy because you're scared that the people around you will hurt you. Putting up this big wall that no one can get past." He fiddled a bit with the fork, his eyes on his food. And he's right, you know. I am scared of getting hurt, but I am more scared of hurting the people around me.
So being this person, that nobody really knows makes it easier for me to stay away.I played with my food, thinking about an answer.
Lando noticed this right away as he put his hand on my arm softly.
"Rora, all I'm saying is- it would be good for you to not distance yourself from everything in this world-" He took a small break. Taking a deep breath.
"You should live a little, I'm sure that's what your family would've wanted you to do"I should live a little.
How can a guy that I've hurt multiple times, still come back and act like nothing happened?
"Lan- I hurt you"
"You didn't hurt me as much as you've hurt yourself - spending all this time alone with your thoughts. I should've been there for you, I never should've left." I grabbed his hand softly.
"No- no it's okay- I would've only pushed you further away the more you tried" I answered, he squeezed my hand and my eyes were glued to the table, not wanting to look up as the guilt flooded my body."Hey look at me" He lifts my chin up, giving me a smile. The smile that once you saw it you couldn't help but smile back.
"We are here now. That's all that matters to me. Please don't push me away again" He said as he was fiddling with my fingers. I looked into his green blue eyes."I won't. I swear"
We are here now.
