Belgium race day.

Not a word from the photographer, it was as if she had fallen off the face of the earth.

No one knew where she could be. All they knew was that she left Hungary three days after the Grand Prix race in a hurry.

People had been texting her, asking where she was this weekend.

When Rose let her know she was getting worried, she got a reply.

I am okay, a lot going on right now. Need time.

Then the photographer would go offline.

Disappearing again.

Back to hiding.

What she didn't tell her friends was; her grandma was on her death bed.
The only family she had left - the one helping her with the passing of the others was now going to pass away too.

"Aurora, your life is more than this.
You need to move on and let yourself go.
Go live your life to the fullest, go fall in love, go visit new countries - sell the house.
Get in a car, close your eyes and let go. You can't keep blaming yourself. Things happen for a reason. My pearl - you are on the right path, follow it and see where it leads."

As the woman took her last breath, the younger one couldn't help but feel like her grandma had read her like an open book. She knew exactly what the photographer was thinking and feeling. That's just the way her grandma was, she could read feelings as if she had been in that exact same situation.

But she knew the woman was right, she always trusted the words of the old lady.

As the day came to an end - her entire body hurting from the pain, she had found herself back at the house of memories.

It was raining again, but it was a peaceful pour.
One where you'd just stay out, laying down on the ground and have cry together with the sky.
So that's what she did - she loved the rain.
It was now her and sky together.
The one she would ask for advise on the worst days. The one she would stare at for so long everybody would've asked if she was okay - which she wasn't; but for once, she felt peace with it.

Nothing was okay, but she knew it would be one day.

"I will miss you. Thank you for looking after me. I am going to be okay. Thank you for the memories, the good and the bad. I'm ready to do this."

The photographer made the decision. Right there and then - it was time to sell the house.
Travel the world. Take amazing pictures. Fall in love. Make new friends. Make mistakes. To live a little. Live for the lives that were taken too soon.
