Once I got to the others again, it was time for round four of shots.
Luckily I had been able to sneak my way out of the last two - Rose? Not as lucky.
"Okay OKAY I dare Aurora to down at least three of these, you're more sober than the rest of us" Lando put three shots in front of me.
"Might as well give me Rose's as well. She's drinking water right now" I looked over at Rose who was leaning her head tiredly on Austin's shoulder. She smiled.
"My savior" She whispered a bit giggling.

Charles scooted a bit closer to me, putting his hand on my lower back. He had been taking it easier with the alcohol as we arrived here. Making sure everything was in control and that everyone was doing alright. He leaned slowly towards my ear.
"You sure about this ma chérie?" He whispered softly, and I gave him a quick nod of reassurance.
The others grabbed a glass each, raising them up.
"For a great summer break" Daniel toasted, making them down their shots.
"TO RORA AND HER NEW JOB" Lando added as he saw me downing my first shot out of four. They cheered me on as a finished the rest.

Oh great, it's tequila. I've never had good experiences with tequila.

"Aurora, come dance with us!" Alex girlfriend Lily grabbed my hand and pulled me with the rest of the girls - except Rose, since she was very focused on her water consumption right now.

Before I could say anything I was on the dance floor, our bodies close to each other as we swayed to the music.

"SO you and Charles huh?" Heidi wiggled her eyebrows at her question.
"I NEVER thought anyone could EVER make that man look at someone that way" Kelly chuckled a bit.
"Wait what way?" I had to shout, since the music was loud around us.
"Like you're the most precious thing he's ever seen!!" Heidi chuckled at my confusion.
"YOU'RE TELLING ME YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE WAY HE LOOKS AT YOU?" She added.
I shook my head, and boy was that a bad idea.
It was what made the alcohol hit hard.
Kelly grabbed my arm.
"Honey he's looking at you right now" She turned me around and my eyes met with his directly.
Charles lips formed a smile and his eyebrow raised slowly.

Do you think he can see how hard the alcohol had hit me in these past 10 minutes?

Oh he's walking over here.

I turned back around to the girls who were all dancing - and I couldn't help but dance again. Everything just felt so easy with them.

It didn't take long until I felt someone against my back. He swayed softly with the music, and I leaned my head back onto his chest.
"Hi" I closed my eyes, moving my body along with his.
"Hello" He chuckled low, putting his arms around me now - kissing the top of my head.
"You having a good time?" I asked him as I turned around to be facing him. His hands automatically making their way to my hips and my arms wrapped around his neck.
"Yes very, are you?"
Our bodies pressed against eachother like two pieces of a puzzle. I nod back at his question.
"The shots hit you hard huh?" He smiled, biting his bottom lip trying not to laugh.
"Yes. But I don't mind. I am dancing with this very attractive guy - and having a good time, I'm having very fun." I tried my best to not make the sentence sound like a slur.
"Oh so you think I'm attractive?" He raised his eyebrow.
"As if you didn't already know that Cha-" He interrupted me by pressing his lips against mine. I chuckled a bit in the kiss and I could feel his smile as he slowly deepened it.

Even though my whole world was spinning, he made me feel sober by his touch.
He pulled me closer to him - which I didn't think was possible since we were already extremely close.

You could hear the small whispers around us. Everybody knew who he was so of course all eyes would be on him. I pulled away, stepping back so I wasn't in his touch anymore.
We shouldn't be doing this here.
"Sorry- I uhm-" I looked around, I saw people looking at us trying to figure out who the girl that was kissing their favorite Monègasque was.
"Hey- what's wrong?" He wasn't looking at anyone but me. He reached for my hand a bit.
"I- I want to- can we go home?" My eyes met with his, he nods.
"Of course. Here" Charles grabbed my hand, leading me out of the club.

Once we made it outside he stopped, taking his hands to my cheeks.
"What's wrong?" His finger softly caressed my cheek.
"Nothing- just tired" I answered but he shook his head.
"Aurora" He furrowed his brows.
God he makes lying so fucking hard.
"I freaked out! Okay? Everybody was looking at us and whispering stuff and I am not used to that. I don't like having all eyes on me" My eyes now glued to the floor.
"And that's completely normal. I'm very thankful that you decided to join us tonight. I know this isn't your cup of tea but having you here made it the best last day." He lifts my chin softly.
"Thank you" He adds.
"You don't need to thank me Charles- I feel like I've ruined your night by making you leave early." I say.
"Nonono, I was hoping you'd pull me away from there so we could be alone." He smiled reassuringly, he grabbed my hand again.

"Come on, let's go mon ange"

We were walking around in Monaco, Charles telling me memories and things about his home.

"This place has the best coffee in Monaco, we need to go there some day"

"Here I fell on my bike and scratched both my knees when I was ten"

"Oh and I had my first kiss in the bush over there"

"My father used to take me here to watch the races back in the day"

"Jules loved this shop"

I loved this - of course taking a car or taxi would go faster. But there's nothing better than walking in the middle of the night and having the best conversation.
I did notice halfway through the walk that we weren't heading back to the yacht.
"Where are we going?" I chuckled looking at him.
"The yacht is over there is it not?" I point towards the yacht.
"Well I was thinking we'd go back to my place tonight?" He scratched his neck smiling.
"Yeah? I'd love that"
"You sure? We can turn back to the yacht"
"Nono, I would love to see your home" I grabbed his hand once again and we made our way towards his place.
