Let's just say that the dinner with the boys got cancelled. But they joined Aurora back at apartment.
Once they walked through the door Charles met them in the hallway.
"I thought you guys were heading out for dinner?" He tilted his head slightly confused but still wearing that cute smile he always had . He quickly noticed all of their expressions and the smile dropped.
"What's up?" His eyebrows furrowed now instead.
There was silence in the hallway. Aurora just took off her shoes and made her way to the living room.
"Somehow- Auroras uncle made it out of the crash" Max broke the silence.
"Patrick made it out of the crash" Lando corrected him.

He wasn't worthy of being called her uncle after what he had done.

Charles walked over to Aurora in the living room. She was looking out the window, biting on the side of her thumb. His hand slowly made its way to her back, caressing it softly.
"How- how do you know that?" He turned around to look at Max and Lando again since no words were leaving Auroras mouth.
"Apparently he's been texting her for years" Lando answered.
"I didn't think- I didn't exactly look into the messages- I didn't read them or look into them that deeply." Aurora broke the silence she had been holding.
"Okay so we contact the police?" Charles hands made their way to his own hips, holding them there steady.
"That's what I said! Aurora if he's threatening you we should do something about it" Lando was phasing back and forth.
"Lando sit down- you're making the situation worse by wearing down the floor-" Max pulled Lando down onto the couch.
"I- he killed my best friend and his family- also almost killed Aurora too- which by the way he still is planning on doing? He abused her for years? How can anybody stay calm" Landos legs were bouncing up and down.
"He won't do anything- not here. Too much exposure, too many people around." Her voice low, but sure.

They took a few minutes to think things through.

"I still think we should talk to the teams at least, so they can inform the security around the track that he's not allowed in there." Charles was the first one to speak.

"And- we obviously can't stay here since he knows you two are staying here for the week." Lando added, he was the only one who actually had read the texts out of all the boys.

"What if I take Aurora with me- in my car to another place? He doesn't know who I am- nor what my rental car looks like." Max looked at all of them.

"This is ridiculous I don't want to be scared of my goddamn uncle. I'm not going to be scared of him anymore." Aurora spoke up, loudly. She was tired of feeling scared and hurt all the time, Patrick was in her past - not her present and would definitely not be in her future.

"Mon ange I know- but I honestly, feel better if you go with Max for now so I'll know that you're safe. Just- til we figure this out. Me and Lando will deal with it- you just go with him okay? Please?" Charles pleaded as he grabbed her hands, looking deeply into her eyes. She looked into his, she didn't want to but how could she say no to him?

She nods.

"Okay"

Lando:
1. Get clothes where you can't see it's her.
2. Leave holding hands, be cuddly and huggy. Act like you two are in love.

Charles: i did not agree on that :(

Lando: Charles.

Charles: yeah okay, I get it, sorry keep going.

3. Get in the car, they get to the hotel & Patrick won't know where she is
4. Charles and I talk to the teams and the police
5. We get this mf.

Aurora: this feels weird guys idk

Max F: It's for the best

Aurora: yeah sure I guess so

Lando: Let's do this?

Charles: yeah let's do this

Max F: plan is in motion

Aurora: did I really have to wear 1000 layers of clothes in this boiling sun?

Lando: yes, because you don't look like you

Charles: I think you looked cute btw

Lando: GUYS FOCUS.

So that's what they did. Aurora left the apartment holding on tightly to Max arm, he kissed her lightly on the top of her head. He lead her towards the car, opening the door for her - she hopped inside.

Lando: good, if you saw it then others probably did as well! MEANING THATS NOT AURORA remember?

Charles: I'm still coming for you Max.

Aurora: Charles, my love. Just focus on the plan. We will be arriving at the hotel in like 20 minutes.

Lando: then me and Charles will leave in like 15 minutes, so he won't figure out that you were in that car.

Charles: I will join you at the hotel as soon as I'm able to, I promise

Max F: won't you guys lead him straight to her if you come here?

Charles: fuck I didn't think about that.

Aurora: it's okay. I'll see you at the paddock tomorrow. Send me updates? <3

Lando: we will 🫡

Charles: I love you Aurora

Aurora: stop worrying please, it's gonna work!
