When me and Rose woke up the next morning, neither of us said a word until we had our first cup of coffee.
I put down my cup, rubbing my temples a bit.
"So how are you doing today?" I looked over at Rose and she just rolled her eyes in a way that told me that she was feeling worse than I."Remind me again why we took those last shots before we left?" She put down her cup now as well. I just chuckled at her as I was shaking my head.
"Because in the moment it was fun?"
"Yeah it was pretty fun wasn't it?" She chuckled now as well.
"Do you want something to eat?" I got up from the sofa looking over at her a bit.
"Oh my god yes please I am starving. What are you making?"
"Oh you think I'm making something? When I'm hungover?" I scratched my neck.
I mean I could make something but I am not a great cook. Specially not when I'm feeling the way that I am right now. She laughed, shrugging a bit."Are we ordering pizza?" She smirked at me, and I could hear my stomach growl.
"Yes, yes we are ordering pizza"

"Okay so how much do you actually know about f1?" She broke the silence as we were eating, Austin had joined us now again. I put the slice I had in my hand down.
"Have you ever watched a race?" Austin added as he took a bite.
"I mean I used to join Lando- to his races but- I am surprisingly bad at formula one though"
"Of course, the racing you used to watch- it's such a big difference"
"I have- seen a formula one race before. My father loved them. I just haven't paid that much attention to detail." I picked up my pizza slice again, putting it between my lips as I took a bite.
I looked over at Rose and Austin, they were both looking at each other shaking their heads."What?" I said as I covered my mouth a bit since it still had food in inside.
"We are gonna watch some races and then tomorrow you should be prepared for what's to come" They both got up as they had finished their pizzas. Rose grabbed my hand pulling me towards the living room.
"B-but my pizza-" I was following her, looking back at my pizza sitting on the countertop.
"I'll bring it, don't worry" Austin chuckled, bringing his right arm around Rose waist, as he held my pizza in his left hand.I plopped down on the sofa as they prepared the tv, talking about everything I needed to know.
Practice, sprints, qualifying, race - interviews, panels, fans, sponsors.
Paddock, motor home, cooldown, podium - winter break, summer break.
Teams, drivers, points - championships, tracks, FIA.
Yellow flag, red flag, chequered flag, dnf, flying lap, drs - hard tyres, medium, soft, intermediates, wets.
By the time they had gone through all of that, my pizza was finished. Making me ready to watch the race they had picked out.
As the race progressed, I could feel my eyes glued to the tv. So much was happening at the same time. My heart was beating fast as Leclerc was the one heading for the finish line and honestly I couldn't be mad at the result.
"It's always like this?" I could feel their eyes on me as I had a smile on my lips.
"Sometimes it's even better" Rose chuckled as she tapped my back.
"She's hooked, she even had that little spark in her eyes. We did it, I'm so proud." He wiped away a fake tear and I just swung the pillow at him."Oh shush" I felt my cheeks getting a bit red as the cameraman had his camera pointed at Charles, taking off his helmet and balaclava.
