*01:09*
As everything was spinning from the amount of alcohol me and Rose had been consuming during the night, we were dancing on the dance floor.
Holding eachother tight, smiling and laughing at every move we made. We should really be heading home, but neither of us wanted to night to end.*02:37*
I was standing outside the club, waiting for Rose to grab our jackets inside. I held myself, swaying a bit and holding my balance. It was a gorgeous night, not a cloud in the way for the stars to shine bright.
"You look a bit cold" I turned my head towards the voice.
"Wait- Oscar?" I narrowed my eyes trying to see him more clearly.
"Aurora- Rora?" He walked closer, I took a step back. He chuckled a bit, since it probably looked a bit clumsy for me taking that step."How'd- you know I was here?"
"Oh- no no I wasn't looking for you. You just happened to be outside my hotel" he points to the direction of his hotel. If that's the hotel he's staying at, I'm gonna take a wild guess that that's where most of the boys are staying. I looked back at him, he was unsure how to approach this situation.
"I'm not gonna say anything. I promise you I can keep a secret" he held his hand out a bit, allowing me to steady myself by grabbing it.
"What are you doing out here alone?" He looked around us a bit, looking for Rose.
"Rose is inside getting our jackets. I'm guessing the line was longer than she anticipated." I shrugged a bit, I'm so tired I could literally fall asleep on the ground."What are you doing up?" I looked up at him.
"Just a lot to think about this weekend" He was still holding my hands, warming them up.
"Tell me about it, I'm terrified of cars and now I'm gonna go watch them go stupidly fast with people I care about in them?" I scratched my neck a little.
"Well- we are all grateful that's you're coming. Everybody has figured it out already." He chuckled a bit low."You should really go and get some sleep" I looked at the time 02:56.
"How are you guys getting home? I'm pretty sure it's a bit far to walk home- and you are pretty drunk my friend" He took off his beanie, putting it on my head.
"Well I think it's the perfect night for a little stroll" I chuckled, fixing the beanie a bit.Rose FINALLY came out of the club, tripping on her own legs.
"Stupid wardrobe queue- oh hi Oscarrrrr" she waved a bit as she noticed him. Rose gave me my jacket and I threw it on, immediately feeling warmer.
"Let's go?" I said getting impatient from waiting on her for now 30 minutes.
"I'm gonna call an Uber" she said getting her phone up.
"No you're not, we're walking. Remember?" I had let go of Oscar's hands now holding myself again.
"Aurora it's freezing and it's so far awayyyy"
"Rose I don't do cars" which is pretty stupid but I haven't really been able to work it out. I haven't worked on that part of the trauma just yet. Yes I know too many years has passed but I'd like to process everything else first. Oscar opened his mouth as the silence was loud.
"You guys could use my hotel room - I can stay with Daniel or something" I looked at him, Rose looked at him and then we turned to each other.
"You sure? That's very kind, thank y-" she turned to him again.
"That's very nice of you Oscar, but I think we can catch the tram" I looked over her shoulder.
"Come on hurry! We don't want to miss the last one" I grabbed her hand, running towards it.
"THANK YOU FOR KEEPING ME COMPANY! BUT THIS NEVER HAPPENED YOU NEVER SAW ME!" I yelled to Oscar, he just laughed as he was shaking his head.
"What happened? WHO EVEN ARE YOU?" he yelled back but then turned to walk to his hotel as Rose and I got on the tram.*03:36*
Rose laughed at the whole situation, what are the odds their hotel was right in front of us this entire time?
"So how do you feel after you've met Oscar?" She grabbed my hand a bit, leaning her head on my shoulder.
"He was nice, I'm happy it was him we ran into at least" I fiddled with her fingers.
"Rora-"
"Mhm?" I had closed my eyes, to make peace with the fact that everything was spinning around me.
"They're all that nice. You shouldn't worry about them" she caressed my hand softly."Just give it time"
Just give it time & live a little.
