The sun beat down on Firehouse 51, casting long shadows across the worn concrete. Inside, the clang of metal and shouts of camaraderie filled the air as the firefighters prepared for another day of saving lives. Among them stood Lieutenant Kelly Severide, a pillar of strength and determination, his steely gaze reflecting the flames he'd faced countless times before. As the alarm sounded and the engines roared to life, little did they know that this day would test them in ways they never imagined.

Early in the day they got a call

SQAUD 3 TRUCK 81 AMBULANCE 61 ENGINE 51 STRUCTURE FIRE

as soon as they got there they realized the fire was spreading quickly and the structure was deteriorating fast they debated about not going in but a worried mother ran out the door

She screamed MY BABYS IN THERE

Severide and Casey masked up and spilt up
Almost immediately Severide was knocked down by falling debris causing him to hit the floor hard causing a loud banging

Severide got up he felt dizzy but he heard the baby crying so he pushed foward he got to the baby's room and put the baby under his turn out jacket and brought her out

He reunited the mother with her baby and leaned against the truck feeling dizzy

He told Capp and Tony to pack up so they did as told Severide jumped in the truck and off they went

Soon all truck company's arrived back and it was time for lunch Severide was acting disoriented so Casey asked if he was ok and he said yeah

Soon after they get a call for a car pileup
At around 12:30pm

TRUCK 51 SQAUD 3 ENGINE 51 BATTILION 25 ABMBULANCE 61 CAR PILE UP

Severide was feeling dizzy and nauseous his head was pounding and he could hardly focus on what Capp was saying they soon arrived and they hopped out of the truck

It was a 25 car pile up so they were gonna be hear awhile

Squad immediately got to work at getting a unconscious woman out of her car

And Casey was barking orders at his men

Capp pryed the door of the car open Shay and Dawson pulled her out and put her on the stretcher and rushed her to the hospital

Severide noticed it was getting harder for him to breathe but he ignored it

Casey was screaming at Severide to come help
Him but Severide couldn't hear him his head was pounding so hard finnaly mills came up
And said to Severide don't you hear Casey he's been screaming at you for the past 5 minutes to come help
Him Severide goes on over to
Casey Casey gives him a concerned look

It was 2pm and they took a water break at this point they were mainly cleaning up the highway and retrieving body's Severide just leaned up
Against the truck breathing heavily
Shay looked at him concerned

At around 2:30pm they started pulling cars out again and retrieving dead body's

3 hrs later

By this time it was 5:30pm the whole crew was just cleaning up the last car

Severide was leaning on the truck he was barley able to breathe and his dizziness was increasing Casey started to walk over to Severide to ask if he was ok and right as he started walking over to Severide he passed out

Casey ran over to Severide practically screaming over his radio that Severide was down

Shay and Dawson ran over and the rest of the firehouse followed

Shay his pulse is weak
She screamed to mills to crab the stretcher Casey bagged him
While Dawson started a iv
They carried him up onto the stretcher and quickly loaded him into the ambulance casey went with

The cheif of station 32 told Boden and firehouse 51 they could go so they packed up and left

Ambulance 61 arrived at the hostpital and they quickly unloaded Severide and dr Choi took him into trauma 1

Several hours later

Doctor Choi came into the waiting room we all stood up

Severide has a severe concussion which caused him to loose consciousness

Casey asked if he could go see him

Dr Choi said yes and brought him back

Casey pulled a chair up
To Severides bedside and asked why he didint say anything Severide just brushed him off

Severide returned to full duty after 6 weeks the end🐞
