Renar followed the memory and something came up. A flash of light shone on Renar's head.
'That's it, the Young Master! He absolutely hated Devland, although they didn't specify much, the two were clearly not on good terms, or at least, it was the Young Master who didn't want good terms.'
"I don't like this salad, fire him."
"The hair style is similar to mine. Send him away."
"He's the same height as Devland, banish him from the capital!"
'Yeah...he was like that, basically if you get his attention it's almost like putting a noose around your brain, so let's avoid him gracefully today, or even forever.'
"Let's go, Lady Liora."
The two walked as quickly as possible towards the exit of the garden, but luck was not on their side.
"Ah, but look at who shows up again, Devland's dog." A voice suddenly came from behind.
The two flinched and turned slowly.
'No way in hell!' The two thought at the same time.
"Greetings, Young Master Christopher." Liora bowed courteously, and Renar did the same. However, Renar looked up to glance at the villain's brother, and almost chuckled.
'What, he's a child, how old is he? 10? Pff.'
Renar was a bit surprised, the feared Young Master hadn't even entered puberty.
"Why are you here today? You dare enter my part of the castle without a reason!?" He said, completely ignoring Renar.
The garden was actually open to everyone, but you still had to have a good reason to enter.
"No, Young Master. I was guiding the Lord right here."
Christopher's gaze went all the way to Renar. "You are?" His eyes snapped open and he took a step closer to Renar.
'Christopher Mors, the second son of the Grand Duchy. As well as being bratty, he's also annoyingly intelligent, a prodigy apparently.'
The boy was born a bit later than Devland, he is 12 years younger than him to be exact, so he was never considered a potential heir to the Grand Duchy.
Consequently he was not even considered by the nobility or as a threat by the imperial family, although the children of the Grand Duke have the right to fight for the throne, Christopher was born too late, he was too young compared to the others to compete.
That's why to this day he is called a wasted potential, being that in his life he won't have the chance to shine like his brother or imperial cousins.
'Well, I can understand it, no matter if you were born as a star, because if you fail to shine like the others then you're worthless, it was like that for me, too.'
"My name is Renar Borgia, Young Master."
"Borgia? What do they do?"
Renar thought about it for a second. The Borgia clan was a poor family compared to the duke and count, but it was an excellent family, clean and highly educated.
"The Borgia family is a family of artists over 200 years old who produced great works and masters of poetry in the past." Liora explained in his place. It was the story of the family, which was unknown to Renar.
"What? Two hundred years ago? So it's a dilapidated house that has nothing to say if you don't bring up old stories? No money, no power, no status, no honor?"
