Sabo and Kairi were thrown into the basement and Kairi growled as Sabo's dad locked the door to make sure they couldn't get out. He was already preparing a ship to take Kairi home. "You've caused me a lot of unnecessary trouble! You truly are a worthless son! Adopting another child was the right thing to do after all."
"Please open the door, Father! We have to go!" Sabo yelled banging on the door. "There are people I have to save! Father! Father, please open the door!" Kairi began throwing her body against the door to try and break it down. Sabo slid to the ground and started to cry and Kairi slid down next to him.

They ran down the streets as the fire from the Gray Terminal lit up the night sky.
"What are you doing?! Hurry and take shelter!" one of the guards said as the quickly approached them. They ran past them and to the lever. "Open the gate!"
"What are you saying?! Why, you..." A guard hit Sabo in the face with the butt of his gun. "Take him away along with her!" Sabo bit the guard and yanked away as he stood up.
"Ace! Luffy! Run!" Sabo yelled going to try and open the gate again. They continuously hit him and Kairi ran forward to help, but they started getting her to.
"Stop it!" she screamed sending out a burst of Haki by accident, knocking out all of the guards. They weren't able to open the gate as their visions blurred and they fell unconscious.
Someone wearing a green cloak covering him, walked up to the two.
"What happened to you two?" the guy asked and Sabo looked up but Kairi was still out.
"Mister... This fire was caused... by the royal family and the nobles! I'm telling the truth!" Sabo said grabbing the man's wrist pulling himself up a bit. "Something in this town smells worse than the Gray Terminal! It's the disgusting stench of rotten people! I'll never be free if I stay here! I'm ashamed that I was born a noble!"
"The only trash in this kingdom are the nobles and royal family...," Kairi said and the man recognized her to be the princess of Alabasta. The man's eyes widened at the two.
"I understand. I, too, was born in this country. However, I still do not have the power to change it," he said surprising Sabo.
"Mister... You're actually listening to what I have to say?"
"Indeed, and I shall never forget it." Sabo fell unconscious next to Kairi and the man picked them up.

Kairi and Sabo woke up and Kairi winced and held her head. She realized it was bandaged and thought back to the man from the night before. Her eyes widened when she realized it was morning. She grabbed her sword and hid it back in her clothes like it was before when her and Sabo were taken. Sabo stood up and grabbed his pipe and Kairi grabbed hers. They sneaked around to the gate and glanced around the corner to see a bunch of policemen looking at two pictures.
"There are still so many of them..." he said and Kairi nodded just as they both felt a hand on their shoulders.
"This game of tag ends here... Little boy. Little girl." They glared at the guy that had a hold of them.

Kairi was put in Sabo's room while Sabo got in trouble by his dad. She laid on his bed. He was forced to study and do homework and guards were stationed at the door, inside of his room.
The next day, Kairi sighed hating that she had to be there when the Celestial Dragon showed up. Just great. Tomorrow's the ceremony.
She sat up and walked over to Sabo's desk that had paper and pencil on it and began writing a note for Ace and Luffy. She heard the guard talking to the second guard about wanting to see the Celestial Dragon.
