Chapter 21

"Hey! Please tell me you guys aren't planning to run all the way to Alubarna!" Usopp exclaimed.

"We've got Eyelash! Just where in the hell is that stupid camel anyway?!" Nami asked.

"Close, I hope." Luffy replied. "Doesn't this town have a stable? Let's get some horses!"

"But the whole town is crawling with marines." Vivi said.

"Not to worry. Look ahead." Sanji informed and the looked in front of them to see Chopper and Eyelash riding on a huge crab.

"Hey guys! Hop on!" Chopper yelled. Usopp screamed.

"A crab!!"

"That's a moving crab!" Vivi said happily as it stopped in front of them.

"Whoa. Awesome!" Luffy shouted. "I can't believe my eyes! I bet it's delicious!"

"All aboard!" Chopper called down to them.

"We get to ride it?!" Luffy excitedly shouted. He stretched his arms and grabbed onto its eye.

"Is it just me or does its face look kind of shady?" Nami asked and Kairi shrugged as she jumped and then let the wind carry her up to its back.

"Say hello. He's Eyelash's friend." Chopper informed. "Eyelash has lots of friends in this area because it's his hometown. He was born and raised here. He's nice, but kind of pervy."

"I can't believe you found one. Moving Crabs are always submerged under the sand, so it's nearly impossible to spot one." Vivi said, impressed.

"Judging by its size, I'd say this guy's pretty fast." Zoro said.

"Okay, time to move out!" Chopper ordered. "Hang on everyone. Here we go!" The sand got up and began taking off. A hook grabbed onto Kairi and went straight through her, grabbing Vivi. Kairi turned around and seen sand was retracting the hook.

"Vivi!" Kairi shouted as Vivi screamed. "Stop the crab!" The crab came to a halt.

"It's him!" Luffy growled out and he stretched his arms out and grabbed the hook. He pulled himself to it, grabbed Vivi, and threw her over to them. Zoro caught her and Luffy kept a hold of the hook.

"Hey! Luffy!" Zoro yelled.

"That damn idiot!" Sanji snapped.

"Luffy, no!" Vivi screamed.

"You guys go on ahead! Don't worry about me!" He yelled back to them and then he landed in the sand. "Make sure you deliver Vivi home safe and sound! You have to promise me! Good luck you guys."

"Idiot." Zoro growled and Kairi looked down. "Hey, let's go, Chopper! Just keep going to Alubarna."

"Right. Okay. Let's go crab!" The crab started moving again.

"Wait, Zoro! That's cold! Stop the crab!" Usopp shouted. "You're not actually going to leave him behind, are you?! I can't believe you'd do something like this! If Luffy's gone, then you better protect me dammit!" Gone. The word echoed in Kairi's head.

"We've gotta go back!" Vivi yelled, frantically.

"It's alright Vivi, he'll be fine." Nami reassured. "You have to trust me on this, okay? I certainly feel sorry for the other guy. Luffy shows no mercy to his prey. And there's not a single person he's gone after that was able to walk away."

"That may be true, but the guys you have faced until now, weren't Logia type Devil Fruit eaters. For Logia types there's only four ways you can actually hurt them. One, Sea Prism Stone and the ocean itself. Two, find a weakness in their ability. Three, Fish-man Karate. It sends a shock wave using the water in a person's body to damage them. Four, Haki. You guys haven't learned that yet." Kairi informed. "I'm not going to tell you anymore than its name because you need to learn it in your own time. Anyways, since Luffy's great at adapting to battles, he might just be able to find the Sand Sand Fruit's weakness. Continue to Alubarna. Vivi, you and I are the only two people who can stop the rebellion. Don't worry about Luffy and his crew. My brother isn't weak and if he trusts his crew, I trust them as well." Vivi smiled.
