Kairi sat on the bar between Shanks and Luffy. "Hey, you gotta take me on your next adventure, Shanks. I wanna be a pirate just like you." Luffy said and Kairi and Shanks laughed.

"Right. As if you could ever be a pirate." Shanks replied.

"Why couldn't I?"

"Look, you might be a good swimmer and all, but that doesn't mean you'd make a good pirate, Luffy." Yassopp said.

"But I'm a great fighter too. My punches are like two pistols!"

"Are they now?" Shanks said as he ate and Kairi laughed.

"What's that supposed to mean?!"

"Haha! He means that you're too much of a kid, kid!" Lucky Roo replied.

"And he's right , ya know. I got boys older than you." Yassopp said.

"I'm not a kid! I'm a grownup!"

"Here. Have some juice and calm down." Shanks said sliding a cup of juice over to Luffy.

"Wow. Thanks, Shanks!" He began drinking it and they started laughing.

"I don't know one pirate who drinks juice!"

"Hey, you tricked me!! Why is Kairi a pirate then?!"

"Kairi's my daughter. She's strong enough to be an apprentice on my ship." Shanks said and Kairi stuck her tongue out at Luffy. The door was kicked off its hinges and Kairi turned to see Higuma, the mountain bandit, walk in. Everyone quieted down.

"Excuse us." Shanks continued eating. "So these are what pass for pirates around these parts. Looks rather sad to me." They walked towards the bar.

"Welcome, gentlemen." Makino said. "What can I do for you?"

"We're mountain bandits, but we didn't come here to tear your place apart. All we want is some sake. I'd say ten barrels should do."

"I'ms sorry, but actually, we're fresh out of sake right now."

"Hm... Interesting. These other pirates seem to still be drinking. Is that water in their glasses?"

"No, that just happens to be the last of what I had stalked up."

"My apologies, gentlemen. Looks like me and my friends drank the whole place dry. But, you can have this if you want." Shanks said holding out a bottle of sake. "It hasn't even been opened yet. Go ahead." Higuma punched it and Kairi put her face down as the glass flew past her and booze spilled on her and Shanks. Makino gasped. "I'm wanted. There's an eight million berry bounty on my head. One bottle isn't enough for a night gap, so don't insult me." Shanks sighed.

"Just great. Now the floor's wet." Kairi giggled.

"So are we." She replied.

"Sorry about that, Makino. You got a rag I can clean this up with?"

"Let me help." Kairi said hopping down. She began helping pick up the glass.

"Oh, don't worry about it. I'll take care of it." Makino said running around the bar as Higuma began unsheathing his sword. He swiped it across the bar and more stuff fell on them and Kairi fell into Shanks.

"Since you like to clean things so much, maybe you'll find this mess more fulfilling. Tsk. A place with no sake is a place not worth our time men. Let's get out of here. See you later pansies." They walked out.
