The Red Haired Devil

Chapter 30

They began running towards the second gate. Luffy laughed as he ran and Kairi rolled her eyes but grinned.

"This is the main gate! This is the main gate!" A baby Transponder Snail recited to a marine guarding the second gate and to Spandam. "I have an urgent message for the chief officer of the island front gate! This is the main gate! It's an emergency!"

"This is Spandam. What's going on?" Spandam asked picking up his own Transponder Snail in his office. 

"Two intruders somehow managed to pass through the main gate and is heading towards the main island, sir!"

"Two intruders?" He asked incredulously. "That's what all this fuss is about? Surely you can manage to take care of it."

"But sir, you don't understand! It's-"

"This is the main island front gate. Intruder sighting confirmed. Don't worry. We'll take care of things from here." Luffy and Kairi ran towards the guards guarding the gate and two stepped forward.

"Hey there, buddies. That's far enough."

"Do you two have the slightest idea where you are?"

"Don't take these two lightly!" The main gate marine exclaimed. "Unless my eyes deceived me, then I'm pretty sure they're..." Luffy kicked one while Kairi punched the second one, making him fly back and slam into the wall. "The pirate Straw Hat Luffy and Number Three of the Revolutionaries Kairi!" The marine's eyes widened, frightened.

"What?! What was that you just said?!"

"The man with a one hundred million berry bounty and the Revolutionary with a two hundred million berry bounty!!!" They all started freaking out. Kairi ducked under one of their swords and uppercutted him. She then spun around and kicked another one in the stomach, sending him flying into two others.

"Where's Robin?" Luffy asked knocking another one down.

"You better answer him!" Kairi yelled kicking one in the face. They knocked down one after another.

"Tell me where Robin is right now!!" They knocked down the rest of them and walked over to the gate where a lot more people were standing. "Sorry to bother you, but could you let us pass?" Luffy did a small bow and Kairi sweat dropped. 

"Even if you asked nicely, you're still an intruder! And no means no!" Kairi caught his spear and elbowed him in the face. She then grabbed him by his throat and sent out a burst of Haki, knocking out all of the other guards except him.

"Well, you can't tell me now if you're unconscious." She said punching him in the face, knocking him out. Kairi grabbed the back of Luffy's shirt and pushed off the ground, taking to the air so they could pass the gate. The marine Kairi thought she knocked out, informed Spandam of Luffy and Kairi entering the main island. 

It wasn't long til Kairi and Luffy were surrounded by marines. "Hey! Straw Hat Luffy! Red Haired Devil Kairi! How many friends did you bring with you, huh? Hehehe!"

"We've got ten thousand soldiers-"

"I don't even need to touch you to defeat you. That wouldn't be any fun though." Kairi said looking up with a grin. "That depends though. Do you want..." Kairi covered her fist in Haki and appeared in front of one of the marines in the front. Her fist slammed into his face, "to die!" He flew back hitting at least a hundred marines, all of them hitting several buildings. "I need to pay you marine bastards back a hundred fold! You cocky bastards!" She punched another one and sent him flying through more marines.

"Gum Gum Gatling!" Luffy started sending out fast punches which made it look like he had more than two arms. Kairi began going through and taking out marines without using her Haki. She unsheathed her sword and sent out multiple slash projectiles which destroyed the ground and wounded the marines in its path. She continued following after Luffy not even knowing where he was going. She sheathed her sword for the moment and sucked in a deep breath as she pulled Luffy behind her.
