Brennen is out hunting when he suddenly smells something wonderful on the slight breeze.
He tracks the scent to a small clearing in the forest where he comes across a small female.
He doesn't understand how a female kit as small as her was by herself in the forest.
He wonders where her mother and father beasts are.
He scoops her up and starts carrying her to the village, he would normally fly but he doesn't want to take the chance of accidentally hurting the female kit.
He is taking her to his village healer to try to find out if she is injured and if she is that she can be treated.
He finally makes it to Yiop the healer and stomps his foot on the porch to announce himself.
Yiop comes out to see who is there and sees Brennen holding a female kit in his arms.
He motions Brennen into the hut and tells him to lay the kit on the firs in the small room just the other side of the main room.
He checks the small female over and realizes that she is a full grown female and she is actually pregnant with kits herself.
He gently closes the door covering as he steps out of the room to let her rest.
Nixie wakes up in a completely dark room and has noticed that her senses have once again gotten sharper, She can feel the individual hairs of the fur she is lying on, she can hear two voices beyond the covering on the door to the room she is in.
She hears them talking and the first voice is so smooth and deep that her panties get wet from the sound, the responding male voice has her clot throbbing.
They are both turning her on just by their voices alone.
"Is the female awake yet? " the second voice asks
"I was just going to check on her." The first replies
There is a ruffling noise from the door covering and Nixie closes her eyes and pretends to still be asleep.
She hears the padding of feet and then feels the fur covering her shift.
" This is no kit Brennen, this a full grown female and she is Pregnant with kits, at least two maybe more, I also noticed that she is of the mer clan."
The first male voice says
"But Yiop how is she a full grown female and that tiny?" Asks the second male Brennen
Brennen gasps "Did you say she is pregnant with kits?"
Yiop pulls Brennen from the room.
"You've got to keep an eye on this one Brennen, I saw no mate marks on her, but yet she is pregnant and I think there is at least one female kit , she needs protection, when she wakes up we need to find out if she has any males and where they are!" Yiop whispers
Nixie is still listening to the conversation going on.
"Yiop do you think I am the best choice to protect this female? What is the mer tribe is looking for her and attacks us for her being here? We only have a few males strong enough to protect this village!" Brennen replies
Nixie is startled by what she hears, and she climbs down from the first and approaches the hide door and walks out if the room.
"She can protect herself, she also has a name!" Nixie sayes as she approaches the two whispering males.
The two males look up startled at the sound of her voice.
She approaches them carefully.
She is still unsure if they are a danger to her so she has a small dagger in her hand and hidden behind her back.
They both are awestruck by her beauty. They are standing there speechless and staring.
She clears her throat to get their attention.
She looks at them both and cocks her head to the side, "Well? Are you going to say something? Or not??" She asks
They both shake their heads as if coming out of a trance and start talking at the same time.
" How are you feeling little one?" Yiop asks
"What is your name beauty?" Brennen asks
"Whoa, one question at a time please, gentlemen." Nixie replies to them.
Brennen looks confused
Yiop asked "What is a gentlmen, female?"
Nixie says a quick wish and finally understands her mistake.
"I meant to say males, I heard that other word from another male which said he heard it from the queen!" Nixie responded to Yiop's question
Yiop nods his head in understanding at this.
" Yes i have heard some new words from males who have been around the young queen and her males." Brennen says
"I just need to get some rest and then I will be on my way to see the Queen , I heard she is a healer as well." Nixue states
Brennen loiks at the young female and says " Where are your males at? They need to protect you on your way to the queen, beauty."
Nixie blushes at the compliment, " My name is Nixie male."
"Where are your males at beautiful Nixie?" Asks Brennen
Nixie looks down and says " I have no males,the fathers to my kits proved to be unworthy by mating another female while they were supposed to be my males, they really were trying to get me pregnant to then steal my kits for this other female, I cut them from my life and the beast diety gave me another chance to find worthy males." She says with tears in her eyes
The males can't believe that any male would give up this female for any reason.
"We would gladly take the place if those unworthy males!" Says Yiop
Brennen shakes his head in agreement.
"My name is Nixie Ann and I would allow you both to court me, but no mating until we all agree to be a family, I want to get to know you and for you to get to know me before I go through with mating." She tells both of them.
"Oh thank you for giving us a chance!!" Says Yiop
"We will treat you well and make you happy!" Says Brennen.
