Chapter 17

The twins were confused about what to do now. They had followed their bond but they ended up walking around in circles because some how the mate pull was being blocked and they couldn't find her scent anywhere, it was like she disappeared into thin air a couple of kilometers from a mountain range they could see in the nearby area.

It was just strange, it almost seems that something is covering up their mate pull somehow. They have used all of the spells they know to unblock their tether to Nixie, but nothing is working. And they are getting frantic to get to Nixie and their kits(s) they never did find out how many or what the gender(s) were.

Twins run in their family line, every generation of their family has at least one set of twins if not more, their cousins are all sets of twins or triplets.  Not a single kit born, always in multiples. They actually had siblings that were twins as well, but they weren't any of them born females.

All sets of twins or triplets were always born male. Never a female born to either of their father's side of the family, on their mother's side females are born but it is only in single kit pregnancies and again it can be rare, their mother was the last known female born from her side, until they had a spoiled princess born 10 turns after William and Victor were born.

When she was born, everyone came with expensive and elaborate gifts for her.
They even named her Treasure Jade, because she was their little Treasure and Jade was picked to match her eyes. She was brought up to be arrogant and selfish and she shows it by her attitude and constantly bringing all the attention to herself, she thinks that she should always be the center of attention everywhere she goes and she feels no one else is as important as she is.
  
And because of their sister, they were often told to go find something to do outside, because their parents were always doting on Treasure.

From the day she was born  they were on their own, they still got material things and money whenever the new month would start but when they were old enough they got their own standing separate from their not so nice mother and unreliable and stand offish father.

They excelled in everything trying to get attention from their parents but nothing was ever good enough for their parents to pay any attention to them as they always doted on their younger spoiled sister.

They had traveled for weeks following their bond with Nixie.

And everything was going fairly smoothly until they got to this wretched spot outside of a large forest.

The twins had to learn how this new world worked.

They at least knew the basics on how to survive in the woods and could take care of their needs in the wild.

They decided to learn on their own since their parents almost completely abandoned them when their sister was born.

Yeah they had staff to clean, cook, and tutor them in academic needs, including the trainers who came in daily to train them in survival and weaponry.

They learned how to speak and read several different languages.

But that skill wasn't used at all because they never left the human world after they were gone from the fairy world and had to live on the mortal plane where they were sent as soon as they had reached the age of 18.

But their parents hadn't known until they had left to the beast world just everything that William and Victor had, their parents and sister were shocked to discover the twins owned a permanent residence right by the palace and their titles were higher than their parents. 

When Treasure found out about her older brothers titles, money, houses, and other material goods, she threw a massive fit and stomped to her room and stewed over her perceived slight.
