I wish (A Beastman Story Sequel)

Chapter 5

Phantom can't believe that Yiop has been so lucky to have found this sweet female.

He becomes quiet and is just thinking about his decision to just be a guard to the queen, he wonders if maybe Yiop was right about the female wanting to mate him.

Yiop told him that it was possible that the female might want to mate him but he isn't so sure.

He finally snaps back to the question the female has asked him about needing a healer.

He turns red when he notices that the female is just looking at him and giggling behind her hand.

He clears his throat and hums, " I am actually here to meet you and the little newborn females, my brother asked me to come here before I leave to Encto city." He says shyly

Nixie looks at his facial features and sees that he has very similar facial features, his eyes and hair are a different color but they resemble each other in their body type and striking facial features.

She was wondering what he was thinking when he blushes.

She welcomes him into their home.

Phantom follows the small female into the big room that everyone was in.

As he walks in Yiop comes over and they clasp each other's forearms and then slap each other's backs in greeting.

Yiop smiles at Phantom and says " I am so glad that you came back to see us and I see that you have met our beautiful and sweet Nixie."

" I have actually been trying to decide whether to stay here or go back to Encto city, I am hoping that you would actually come with me to the city of the queen brother?" Phantom asks.

"Actually I was thinking of moving there because I was hoping to keep my growing family safer in a city that has so many more warriors than this small village." Yiop stated

"If the city has more warriors than this small village maybe we should move there, since we have more females in need of protection than this village can provide." States Brennan thoughtfully.

While the males are talking Nixie is wishing to know more about her male's brother.

Knowledge floods her mind and she bursts into tears with finding out what her mate Yiop and his brother Phantom had grown up enduring.

At the sound of a dainty sniffle all three males snap their heads to see Nixie sniffling and tears flowing down her cheeks.

Phantom starts to apologize for anything he can think of at the sight of her tears.

A long low growl resonates from his chest as he growls "Who do I have to kill for hurting you? I will kill whoever put those tears in your eyes,consider it a part of the courting gifts I will give you!" He snarls.

She is speechless at this and wipes her eyes with her hands and beams up at him, " You want to court me?" She asks in surprise her face lighting up.

He looks at her and his rage disappears, he walks closer and cups her face in between his large calloused hands.

He responds" I have never felt this way for any female I have met, known or even seen before."

He looks deeply into her jewel like eyes and speaks again "I would love to join with you and be apart of this family, I will never find a jewel more precious than you, please may I court you?"

She feels in her heart that he is sincere with his statement and wishes for a way to tell when things are going to happen and when someone lies or is telling the truth.

She feels that in her heart this Beastman will be a good,gentle protector for her and any kits they have.

She feels that her family will be even better with him as a part of it.

She immediately pulls him down to gently kiss his warm full lips and breathe in his manly scent.

His eyes flutter shut at the sweet touch of her pouty lips, he inhales her scent and cradles her head.

They part with a whine from Phantom and a giggle from Nixie.

Nixie smiles and says" I have seen into your heart and I would love to mate with you, no courting needed."

His face breaks into a smile so big his cheeks ache.

She smiles on return, " I just need you to wait on the mating until I am healed from birthing the twins." She says

" I will gladly wait as long as you wish as long as I know that you will be mine and I will be yours!" Phantom exclaims happily.

She caresses his cheek and smiles up at him.

" I should be healed by the end of 5 turns and then we can mate,ok? She asks him in a honey coated purr.

He was allowed to move into the spare room in the small hut until they mated.

It made it easier for him to guard his future mate if he was living within the same abode than if he had moved back into his hut that was on the other side of the small village from where she lived with Yiop and Brennan.

The small family was getting used to the newest members and had been getting very little sleep as the twin girls were constantly eating,  so they were up every few hours of the night.

This went on for what felt like years to Nixie, finally just when the kits had started to sleep through the night it was time for the village to be introduced to the newest kits and for the announcement that the small family would be leaving to live in the city.

The bonfires lit up the entire village so much it looked as though it wasn't even dark outside.

Everyone was bringing by presents for the little kits and their mother.

The village had started to pack up to leave to the big city with Nixie and her family.

Since the village was going to be losing their healer and both of their highest marked hunters they decided that it would be better to abandon the village than to stay without proper protection and no healer.

Everyone packed up and put their possessions into a cave behind the chiefs hut for the night.

The plan was to leave at light break and travel all day as far as they could before having to make camp for the night.

They all enjoyed themselves at the bonfire that night, but they didn't stay up too late since daylight comes early and they wanted the energy for traveling.

Everyone bedded down for the last night in the small village that had been their home for so many years.
