One Week on The Ring
Jaycee spent her week in her room, crying over Nova, Clarke, and her brother. She wished she could have saved him. Jaycee was laying down in her bed that she shared with Bellamy. There would be times where Raven would come in and try to talk to her, but it never worked. Bellamy would try to get her to talk by telling her about his day, sparring, fixing things, just anything really. Sometimes even Murphy would try and start a conversation with her, saying something about how Raven beat him in a sparring match. Normally Murphy losing to something had Jaycee smiling. This time it didn't, and that's when he knew that she wasn't herself anymore.
She was broken...
She never spoke, she just either sat in the chair, looking out the window, or she'd be in bed.
Monty never came to talk to her either, that's what made Jaycee worse, but she never told anyone that. Jaycee needed her best friend. Her other brother, but he just avoided her. She never knew why, Jay thought it was because he blamed her for Jasper's death, that maybe if Jay had stayed with Monty and the others, she could have convinced Jasper to come with them.
Jaycee sat up, looking out the window once more, she went to one of the drawers in the room and found something. She thought about it, was she really feeling this low to the point where she wanted everything to stop. She looked at the container that had some pills. Jaycee grabbed a couple and some water; she then had them in her hand.
"Just end all suffering." Jay mumbled to herself.
She took the pills, she didn't know how much, but she did.
She then got up and decided to take a walk around. Let the pills run its course
She put on her shoes, a jacket and made her way around the Ring. She was hallucinating at this point.
As she was walking around Raven spotted her, Jaycee sighed, she didn't really want to talk with anyone as she was about to die from OD.
"Hey, how you holding up?" Raven asked.
Jaycee just nodded, meaning that she was okay.
Raven sighed, "Jay, c'mon, we're friends, you need to tell me what's going on, or just tell Bellamy, he's really worried about you, I mean we all are. We all love and care about you, so much, we wouldn't know what we'd do without you. You are our family. We wouldn't know what to do if we lost you, you know this, everyone in this damn place loves you with all their heart. Tell me. Please. What is wrong?" Raven really wanted to get through her best friend. She couldn't not help her, she cared too much about her. Jaycee has helped her with everything in the past. Losing Finn, getting shot, sacrificing herself so she wouldn't get tortured by the grounders, everything.
Jaycee let tears fall down her face.
Raven took that as a sign to pull the girl into a hug. "I'm sorry," Jay mumbled. "I'm so sorry," She sobbed.
"Why are you sorry?" Raven pulled her back to get a look at her.
"I-" Jaycee tried to speak, but nothing came out.
