Don't know why I had this idea. Was thinking about Code Geass while driving home (Should have been focusing on the road. I know.) and it switches to something that turned into a crossover of COTE X KHR. Can't even remember what the second thought that became this crossover was.

Just Ayanokoji replacing Tsunayoshi as future Vongola Decimo (Tenth). Mika is the parent with Vongola blood from her ancestors. The Vongola know of Ayanokoji's existence from his birth certificate but lost track when he was admitted into the White Room. The Vongola Nono (Ninth) puts looking into Ayanokoji on hold after no leads and leaves some feelers/spies in Japan because he still has heirs.
Years later, when Nono's heirs start dropping like flies, his spies send word that Ayanokoji has been enrolled into ANHS. Nono starts trying to gather info. There's not much to find. After Ayanokoji's first month at ANHS, the spies report about Ayanokoji's average grades (the spies don't send numbers, just states that he gets an average score), the school system, his class being the Defective class and uses the idiot trio as examples for what the class is like.
Nono is horrified that Ayanokoji is 'average' and surrounded by defective influences (Cough-Class D-Cough), so he sends Reborn to fix the situation. Ayanokoji now has to deal with Reborn's antics, the class competition, the WR and his peaceful life being replaced with Mafia shenanigans.
Reborn is not an idiot. He will notice the contradictions of Ayanokoji and send his own connections to dig up info on him while sending reprimands to Nono for his incompetent spies.
