Just noticed that Swordmaster's Youngest Son is the only series in the crossovers with COTE that I put first in the title.

.

.

This is based on the crossover stories by Mei_ki0 and OriginDistortion, COTE: Magic and Colder than Ice. Most of the COTE crossovers just bring characters from other series or send Kiyo, with or without others, to the other series world. These two however kept the setting and characters of the COTE series but took the power system from the other series.

.

It's basically that but with SYS's star system for magic, aura (martial arts/weapons) or godly energy (Example: Jin's Shadow Energy) if it's decided to add Gods, their Dragons and their Contractors.

White Room

The White Room's goal is to train ordinary children into powerful Magic Swordsman/Martial Artist (Temar and Jin). They aren't arrogant though, so while that is their ultimate goal, they are content training ordinary children into powerful Swordsman or Mages who are at least able to use the other in a useful manner. For the majority of the student generations, the best in a generation will be the top mage or top martial artist. Sometimes there will be outliers and the top few spots will be one of the two classes before the top of the next class will get ranked.

Example

1st Gen
Rank 1: (Insert Random Name) - Martial Artist - (Insert Weapon of Choice/Hand to Hand)
Rank 2: (Insert Random Name) - Mage - (Insert Magic of Choice)

2nd Gen
Rank 1: (Insert Random Name) - Mage - (Insert Magic of Choice)
Rank 2: (Insert Random Name) - Martial Artist - (Insert Weapon of Choice/Hand to Hand)

3rd Gen
Rank 1: (Insert Random Name) - Mage - (Insert Magic of Choice)
Rank 2: (Insert Random Name) - Mage - (Insert Magic of Choice)
Rank 3: (Insert Random Name) - Mage - (Insert Magic of Choice)
Rank 4: (Insert Random Name) - Martial Artist -

4th Gen
Rank 1: Kiyotaka - Magic Swordsman - (Insert Magic of Choice)/ Sword
Rank 2: Shiro - Martial Artist - (Insert Weapon of Choice/Hand to Hand)
Rank 3: Yuki - Mage - Ice Magic

5th Gen
Rank 1: Takuya - Martial Artist - (Insert Weapon of Choice/Hand to Hand)
Rank 2: Ichika- Mage - Fire Magic

6th Gen
Rank 1: (Insert Random Name) - Martial Artist - (Insert Weapon of Choice/Hand to Hand)
Rank 2: (Insert Random Name) - Martial Artist - (Insert Weapon of Choice/Hand to Hand)
Rank 3: (Insert Random Name) - Mage - (Insert Magic of Choice)

As stated before, while they excel in either magic or martial arts, they can still use others. Same with weapon styles or magic styles, they might excel in some doesn't mean they haven't learned others.

ANHS

ANHS is still an elite high school with 3 grade years and 4 classes per year. When a student applies for admittance, they must sign up for either the magic course or martial course. Which course you're in will not affect what class you are assigned to. For most of the school day students will go to normal classes, with some changes (like history of famous magic/martial families, current political knowledge, magic/martial theory classes to teach the basics (this is for both courses so mages can understand how to analyze/deal with other mages or martial arts users and vice versa for martial students. The class will alternate which style it teaches about to the entire class), etc. the big changes will be for the last 1 or 2 classes of the school day and extracurricular activities. The final classes of the school day will either be 3 of 5 school days or every school day. It will be split by the courses the students selected before the school year. All mages of class A, B, C, and D separated by year will be in one while the martial students will be in another. This is so the students will get specialized help by their teachers. The after-school clubs will specialize to mages of certain magics or martial students of certain weapons. Like fire magic club or dagger club. This is for students to train with students of similar fighting styles to learn from or tutor different year students.

There will be a dueling system used to handle bets and disputes between students. It doesn't matter what kind of battle it is. It can be ones where both students use the same weapon, are only able to the same type of magic, no holds barred, accuracy on targets or a race around the arena. as long as both participants agree and have a witness.

Students and their chosen course

Ayanokoji - Mage - Ice

Suzune - Mage - Ice

Manubo - Mage - Ice (Suzune would copy him)

Ryuuen - Martial Arts - Gauntlets/Brass Knuckles

Hiyori - Mage - ?

Ichinose - Mage - ?

Sudo - Martial Arts - Hammer?

Most athletic students would probably choose a martial art while the more academically gifted would choose magic. This isn't always the case, it's just more common.

While Kiyo is a Magic Swordsman who's good in both magic and swords, he is better with the sword. Ice magic is also his least proficient magic that he can use. The reason he applied as a mage of the ice element is because of Childe from Genshin Impact. He's weakest with a bow, so he uses it more. Same logic.

.

After Horikita ruins the first study session Ayanokoji tells Horikita it's not the idiot's fault but her own. He tells her she only needed to give them worksheets to answer, answer their questions and dumb down the material to an elementary school level. She only gave them work sheets before insulting all their wrong answers. She didn't answer their questions and said they've been taught this already. She just repeated the information at a high school level and not at their elementary level. This angers Horikita enough to challenge Ayanokoji to a duel with Kushida, who hadn't left yet as the witness. The loser is wrong. If Koji loses, Horikita doesn't have to teach the deadweight. If Horikita loses, she has to admit she's wrong and actually try and tutor the idiots. Since both of them are in the magic course, she challenges him to a sword duel. She believes she has the upper hand because she has experience in martial arts (Not aura but self-defense hand to hand and some kendo. She copied her brother. The kendo is based entirely on one scene in the 2nd anime opening.) and Ayanokoji is just a mage.

At the arena, Ayanokoji and Horikita square off. Horikita in a stance with both hands holding her sword while Ayanokoji has one hand in his pocket and his sword held loosely in his left hand (He's right-handed because why not. Make it more embarrassing for Horikita.) hanging at his side. Kushida as referee starts the duel. Horikita immediately rushes in with a flurry of strikes, but Ayanokoji casually blocks them all with the sword in his left hand. Angered at his attitude, Horikita attacks with a downward swing using all her strength. Ayanokoji counters and sends her flying to the edge of the arena. Kushida and Horikita are then shocked that Ayanokoji has yet to move from his spot or remove his other hand from his pocket. Horikita demands to know why he is so skilled with a sword if he is a mage.

Ayanokoji: Ignoring the hypocrisy of you asking that while knowing how to use a sword, I never said I wasn't a swordsman. I'm a Magic Swordsman, so I can use mana or aura and know how to use a sword. If I'm being honest, magic is the one I'm weaker at with ice being my least useful magic I can use.

.

Don't know if I would also want the Runcandel's or Zipple's to be part of it or to just have some characters from SYS. If I did, it would be Luna, Luntia/Runtia (I prefer the Luntia translation.), Mary and Yona. They are my favorite Runandel's after Jin.
