"You're alive! Daikon!" Cori exclaimed seeing her, just a few feet away holding their friend.

"Hey..." Daikon gave him a weak look, still holding onto Raimu.

"I'm so glad you're alive, I'm so glad!" He breathed out and was almost relieved.

"Maybe let's wait before you be all glad about me...there's other things to worry about."

"Oh, yeah..."

Vegeta raised a brow at her, quickly standing up tall. "Who is she?" He only took a step towards her before she took a step back.

Daikon only moved Raimu slightly closer to her body. "You can stay right there, don't even come closer...!"

"Wait, hold on." Cori went towards her but still kept his distance. "That's just Vegeta, he's not an enemy!"

"I just watched him try to kill Raimu. I don't care if you trust him, because I definitely don't."

Goku still stared at her with confusion. "Hold on, we still don't really know who you are..."

She narrowed her eyes at him with suspicion. "...I'm Cori and Raimu's friend..."

Cori's shoulders lowered, almost as if he was relaxed. "That's Daikon, she is our friend! But..."

He quickly tensed up again and then suddenly glanced away. Daikon's eyes widened but then she followed his same movement, even looking away from all of them.

"Sorry...I'm glad you're alive but I...I thought you were dead, Daikon."

Daikon looked back at him with sorrow. "I'm sorry I made you think that, but there was nothing else I could do...I didn't mean to make you think I was dead."

"I know you didn't."

"I really am sorry for anything you went through with that thought." She carefully stood up, though was still careful with Raimu. "I had to stay low after everything that happened."

"Yeah you...you were gone and Valli..." He almost couldn't find the words. "Valli..."

"I was there to see it. I know, Cori, I know."

"..."

Trunks could see how her clothes were clearly ruined. "You look awful right now..."

Daikon rolled her eyes at the comment. "That isn't new."

"Not like that but...that blast should've done a lot to Raimu and he doesn't look any different."

Cori only furrowed his eyebrows in worry. "You took that blast for him?!"

"No way she actually did...right?"

"That blast could've killed you, you know?! Then you actually would've been dead and..."

"I don't care, I had to do something, of course." Daikon's soft grip on Raimu soon tightened but not enough to show. "My life doesn't matter-"

"It does matter, Daikon! You matter a lot!"

"No, it doesn't, Cori. Especially if...Raimu's life is on the line."

"Still." Vegeta gritted his teeth and almost showed anger. "Raimu was moved out of the way just in time..."

"That's strange to be mad over..."

"Yeah, it is." Cori frowned upon seeing it and didn't hesitate to say, "I definitely would've done the same if I was in Daikon's position."

"It was for a good reason." Goku found an opening for him to explain. "Lych was controlling him with something and even when we ripped it off, he was still under its control."
