The world felt awfully silent.

Raimu couldn't help but feel uneasy about it. To him, everything before was super loud and now it was like he was alone.

Everything that happened before could just about be remembered by him. From the moment they began the fight to when he passed out by the end of it. Nothing about what happened after that came to mind and his head hurt trying to think.

"His injuries are rough..." The faint voice of Future Bulma could be heard as she tightened the bandages. "But he'll be just fine now."

Mein put her hands together with a relaxed face. "That's good to know..."

"Yeah, it is..." Goku showed the same relaxation after hearing that, his shoulders even lowering.

Goten looked over at Raimu's body with worry, his eyebrows even slightly furrowed. "Do you know when he'll wake up?"

"Give him some time. That fight was super long, you know? He's probably tired."

Trunks put up a fist with a smirk with a sense of excitement. "You have to tell us the entire battle, don't forget about it!"

Raimu heard that and that's when the whole battle came back to him, entirely from start to finish. His memory of two friends fighting by his side appeared.

"CORI! DAIKON!" Raimu instantly sat up, scaring the others as they jolted without realizing it.

His eyes darted around and saw everyone else around him. They were all shocked at how sudden he sat up but were quick to calm down.

"Hey, calm down! You got it!" Goku put his hands in front of him, waving them nervously. "You're fine!"

"Look around." Seeing Mein definitely helped him think, especially since she kept her calm look. "You're back in the past now, alright?"

"And be careful. You still have injuries!" Future Bulma reminded him but she was disregarded by him since he still had so many thoughts.

Raimu's hands were just barely shaking while his eyes stayed low.  "W-Where's Cori and Daikon...?"

"They're fine." Goku gestured away from him to the side so he could see.

Cori and Daikon were also laying on lawn chairs, the two seemingly still knocked out. He saw that Cori had his shirt off to show the bandages wrapped around the large gash Lych gave him, Daikon having bandages around her arms along with a few gauze patches.

"You." Vegeta caught his attention but not fully. "Are you alright now?"

"Yeah, I am..." Raimu trailed off, putting more of his focus on his friends.

Goten stared at them, too, and inspected their condition. "Are these really your friends in the future?"

"Oh, yeah, they..." He stopped talking and then looked at his brother.

He let it sink in that it was his brother he looked and spoke to. Goten didn't look any different from how he did in the future.

"I said no! How many more times do I have to say it? Hurry up and go back! If it's something dangerous..." He put his hands on his shoulders tightly. "I don't want you to get hurt."

"But...but..." There was nothing else he was able to say and gave in. "...Fine. I bet it's nothing serious anyways."

He chuckled at him and patted his head. "Just make sure Mom is alright and when I come back, I'll tell you."

With that, he watched Goten fly off into the city.

––––

'I ended the fight for you, Goten. I did it.' Raimu finally blinked and a soft smile came up. "Thank you, Goten."
