Gamera Rebirth Headcanon

Gyaos

Gyaos are rather simple kaiju, their only purpose is to eat, breed, and listen to the bigger Gyaos, that's about it. They are mindless beasts who do whatever they want or if they're ordered to do something by their alpha, but they don't respect their alpha or their own. They care about nothing but themselves, heck they'll even eat their own if it comes down to it.

Jiger

Jiger for the most part is similar to her Showa variant except she isn't lonely. Jiger is psychotic, malicious, cocky, and aggressive. She's psychotic cause she was actively laughing or roaring while the humans were shooting at her, she even stood up on her hind legs while doing it, which makes her cocky too, cause that was after she beat Gamera. Aggressive cause she attacks everything that moves especially humans, they're her favorite meal. If she wasn't killed by Gamera she would actively seek out cities and humans to eat and destroy.

Zigra

Zigra is different from his Showa variant. Zigra is Quiet, smart, and aggressive. Zigra is smart because he can sense where to find humans in the water, more specifically children. Aggressive because Zigra will attack anything that isn't him. But if you were to ever get to know him you'll find out. The water fish kaiju is rather quiet and doesn't socialize, which makes sense because he attacks any kaiju regardless of anything they did to him. So yeah, doesn't have good social skills.

Guiron

Guiron is different not by his design but by how he acts. Think of him like an assassin Guiron is quiet, Cold, and serious. Guiron has one purpose and that's to hunt down children for the Eustace Foundation. It could explain why he didn't attack or try to eat any of the humans while he was looking for the children on the island. Which could also show he has some degree of intelligence.

Viras

Viras is Intelligent, vengeful, selfish, and a narcissist. Viras is vengeful, especially to the Eustace Foundation. God, he hates them, they put him through so much, and for what? Their crazy plan? God he suffered under them. So he wants revenge by eating one of those kids, the glowing one, Boko. He is smart and knows what he's doing and he knows about Gamera, that prick, who thinks he can do whatever he wants and trying to tell them what to do.

S-Gyaos

S-Gyaos is slightly more intelligent than the average Gyaos only a bit. But for the most part, it acts the same as the other Gyaos. Expect it Shows signs of being sadistic for instance when he corned Boko and instead of rushing at him, slowly took his time to reach him. There are only two things on S-Gyaos's mind kill Gamera and eat Boko. While making each suffer of course.

But at the end of the day, they were all pawns to the Eustace Foundation. Well, except for Gamera.

Gamera

Gamera is Heroic, Kind, Intelligent, serious, and a badass. Gamera is heroic...I mean come on did you watch the show? Gamera is serious and compared to his other versions, doesn't have the same connection with children, but that doesn't mean he doesn't care for them. Boko and his friends are a good example of this. The turtle kaiju takes his job seriously and doesn't talk when he's on the job preferring to stay quiet or roar. Gamera is kind because he goes out of his way to protect Boko and even saves him from S-Gyaos while he is still injured. Granted though a more heep of worms would've opened if S-Gyaos had eaten him, but that doesn't matter. He's also the kind of kaiju to get the job done no matter what even if it costs him his one life. As long as Boko, no, as long as the children are safe. He'll rest and let his successor handle the situation from now on.

Just finished the show and omg, it's honestly a shame we'll never get a season 2. But in time we'll see are turtle kaiju on the big screen again. My favorite characters are Dougless and Joe.
