45) Epilogue

Senna-

Senna covered her nose; the smell of rot and decay made her sick. How could the Great One have the prisoners in these conditions? She understands they committed great atrocities. But give them some dignity and decency.

She shouldn't be here; she's pregnant, for Pete's sake. Pregnant with a demon's baby. The great ones could use this visit to lock her up. But they can't. There's an agreement between Luther, the angels, and them. She's safe for now.

She wanted to see her father and ask him something. He wants to know about a deal he made with the angels.

A guard led her to the back; it's where they keep the new prisoners. They stopped at a cell block, and a guard brought Senna a chair. She sat down and looked at her father. He was a mess.

"Father?"

"Come to gloat?" He said. "I can see you are spreading your legs again for that filthy demon."

His words didn't hurt her anymore. It wasn't long ago that he begged for help.

"And I'll keep spreading my legs for him," she smiled. "I'm not ashamed of my love for Luther. I love him and our children." She chuckled. "I'm the happiest I have ever been."

He growled.

"What deal did you make with the angels?" She asked. "I was told you made a deal with them. What was it?

He laughed. "They already knew your daughter was going to be born. They ask me to pretend like I killed the kid. They wanted Luna. And in return, they would name me a Great One."

Senna glared. "It all failed; you didn't count on me escaping that night. I'm happy that you didn't get away with it. I'm sure all your enemies are pissed off they couldn't get their hands on you."

He steps forward. He looked worse than the last time Senna saw him. "They were on my ass for years until your husband killed the angels. He took control of the clan."

As of recently, Luther is still in control of the clan. He was planning on giving it to another alpha, maybe Saito. But Senna told him not to. She doesn't want the clan to disappear. Senna and Luther agree to keep it safe until one of their children claims it. Luna won't since she has Demitri. But hopefully, this little one growing in her belly will.

She stood. "Don't worry about the clan; Luther will keep it safe until one of our children claims it. I'll make sure my clan thrives."

"A half-breed can't be an alpha! Especially not a demon!" He grips the bars. "You fucking whore! Curse the day you were born."

"Goodbye, father," she turned away and never looked back. Her father yelled insults.

She is not sure why her father loathed her so much. Maybe because he never had any more kids. Her mother couldn't get pregnant.

Well, it's over. Senna won't have to see him ever again.

Luther waited for her outside. It was tense. The tension was making everyone jumpy. She smiled. "Let's go home."

"Gladly."

Home meant going to the Crimson clan. She wanted to visit their daughter.

"So the puppy appeared out of nowhere," Luna held a fluff in her arms. "So cute; look, Sapphire, a puppy."

Sapphire squealed and reached for the pup. Luna let her pet it.

"What's going on?" Senna walks over.

Luna smiled. "Saito found the puppy sleeping under the kitchen table. No one knows how it got here. There was a note saying it was a gift for Sapphire."
