Demetrius-

This thirst. It's driving Demitri insane. He's starting to hallucinate. It feels like he has been without blood for months. He was fine last night, but now. Now, he is dying. He feels himself drying out.

Eating food isn't helping his hunger. It usually did satisfy enough for him to hunt for blood. He's paler than last night, and he's losing his muscle; this is not normal. It has to be the wolf's blood. He has drank wolf blood before. But what he was doing was a ritual to camouflage him. What if he becomes a wolf? His worst nightmare. He didn't want to become a wolf. Then again, he could fuck Luna's wolf. No. No. Damn it!

"Demitri, what are you doing talking to yourself in the mirror?" Shit, he didn't realize he was speaking his thoughts aloud again.

"Don't you knock," he glared.

"Hmm?" She entered and gripped his chin, forcing him to face her. "You don't look well." Her brow furrowed in worry. "You need blood."

He nodded.

"Then it's best to go and feed," she smiled. "It won't do you any good if you are near Luna. You will only want to take a bite of her."

He shook his head. "I have some blood sore in the fridge. I'll drink that for now. It's daylight; the sun will hurt me. I'll wait."

She stroked his cheeks. "Okay, go."

He left the bathroom and went downstairs. The blood did help a little. But he needed warm blood.

As he made his way back upstairs, he heard Luna.

"Where's Dimitri?" Luna asked. She is feeling better now; her wounds have healed. Now that her wolf isn't dormant, she's recovering.

Luna had been moved upstairs to his bedroom because of a slight drift in Senna's bedroom. He will fix the window later.

"He was talking to himself in the mirror again," Senna chuckled. "He went downstairs to ease his hunger."

"Does he always do that?" Luna asked.

"No, this is the first time, I think," Senna said. "And I think the lack of blood is starting to drive him mad."

He heard Luna sigh in frustration. "Why hasn't he fed?"

"He already did," Senna said. "But I think it's the wolf's blood; it's affecting him. It takes a lot of energy to keep the spell going. And I believe my blood is drying him out. I mean, we did use another wolf's blood before using mine. And he was fine. I suppose it is my blood that affects him."

"Why?" Luna asked.

"My wolf is stronger," Senna said. "The stronger the wolf, the more potent our blood becomes. It's poisonous to vampires. I guess even one drop is dangerous."

It was quiet for a moment before Luna spoke. "Can he use mine?"

"Let's not go that far," Senna laughed nervously. Why did Senna avoid the question?

There is something odd about Senna's interactions with Luna. Very odd.

"Okay," Luna gave up. "How long have you known him?"

"For about fifteen years," Senna said. "He was a skinny little fourteen-year-old boy. I won't tell you much; he can tell you someday."

That's his cue to enter. Luna looked up at him and smiled.

"I'm good now, for now," he entered and sat on the chair.

Senna sighed. "Go and feed."

Luna frowned. "You should listen to Senna."
