Luna-

After today, things could change. Sarah will probably hate her. But she did go too far; breaking her hand was her brother's last strike.

Luna didn't want to be the center of attention. She hates being in the spotlight. That is why she told Saito not to bring her name up.

Saito was irritated, but thanks to Lilly, they convinced Saito not to bring her up. Luna wants to avoid getting accused of favoritism. She wants to detach herself from being the sister of the alpha.

She and Lilly waited for Saito in the living room. There will be an assembly.

"Ready?" He asked.

Luna nodded. "Sort of. I'm a little nervous, but I'll manage." She took a bite of her breakfast corn dog with maple syrup. She eats sweet things when she's nervous.

"Luna, everything is going to be all right; they won't dare go near you while I'm there," he rubs her arms. "It'll be suicide and stupid."

She wouldn't put it past them. Sarah will probably try to do something. She's that stupid. There is a saying that blondies are dumb—some.

She follows her sister and brother to the car. She got in the back seat. As he drove to the school, he glanced at her through the review mirror. She probably looks paler than she already is. She can't help but feel nervous. It feels like her life is about to change drastically.

"Luna, relax your big brother, the Alpha, which is me," he said, pointing to himself, causing her to let out a low giggle. "I will stop the bullying for everyone."

"Okay," she said softly.

They arrived at the school and parked at the back of the school. Luna got out and took a deep breath. Well, here goes nothing. She ran to his side and hugged his arm. Act shy.

They walked toward the back doors; there was someone there. Wait. Dale?

"Dale, good to see you," he said, offering a handshake.

"Yes, it's nice to see you again, Alp—" he was cut off by Lilly, who hugged him tightly.

"Dale!" She snuggles him. "Look at you, so grown up, so cute. I remember how chubby you were as a child. Now look at you; the ladies must swarm you, huh?"

Dale groaned.

Luna wanted to laugh. She remembers Dale. They used to play, but Dale had to go away for a while for training. It's a summer camp. Every young man and woman, except her, went to the camp. She's not allowed because of her wolf; she's dormant. She shifted once, but after that, her wolf went to sleep. so she didn't need the training. But her brother advised her to train with him. Although she's a bit lazy, she hates it.

"Excuse me; older brother standing right here, you know," Saito sighed. "Lilly, let the poor boy breathe."

Lilly pouted and let him go. Dale sighed out of relief. "Your stepsister has changed dramatically. What happened to pink dresses and tutus?"

"Sister, not stepsister," Saito corrected him. Luna shook her head. Her siblings don't like that she's known as the stepsister.

"Sorry," Dale looked at her.

"It's fine," Luna replied. It's not a big deal.

"Right," Saito sighed. She follows them. "The assembly isn't until after school, Dale; the reason why I needed you to come back is because I am making you Beta."

"So soon?" Dale frowned. "But I'm not eighteen yet."

"I know, but I need my Beta," Saito told him. "I need you to watch over Luna. I made sure your classes are the same."
