She still rejected them. Even after Reed had emailed and explained his college year activity.

Theo had to stand in their living room and watch his adored husband break down in tears because of that woman. That damn bitch. That bad mother and wife. How dare she look down on Reed for something that happened when he was only nineteen ? He was little more than a boy then. Theo had to watch his husband blame himself and apologize constantly to Theo. Theo didn't blame him. Not at all.

He blamed that bitch.

He grabbed his jacket and rushed out the apartment.

His destination? That adoption agency. He didn't know if he was going to give her a piece of his mind or beg her to make an exception or both but...... He was going to do something. He just wasn't sure what right now.

Nobody hurt his man.

When he arrived at the agency it was oddly quiet. It was too early to be closed but it was eerily silent. He didn't even see thankfully the horrible Browns.

He stepped into the office. No Joan.

Pushing his glasses back on his face, he called out," Ms. Clyde? Vanessa Clyde, where are you ? "

Where are you, bitch?

He saw her inner office door was opened. A coolness slid over his spine as he heard what he thought was a moan. What the hell? Was someone hurt ? He moved towards the room and stumbled over something in the dimly lit room. Of course he fell down over the object.

The object that turned out to be the bitch.

Vanessa Clyde.

She was laying on the carpeted floor in a pool of blood. And she had a uniquely designed letter opener sticking out of her flat chest. The letter opener that his hand had instinctively grabbed as he was trying to break his fall. Her eyes were open and staring lifelessly at the ceiling.

He jumped back off the body. He had landed on a dead body. The dead body of Vanessa Clyde who had just rejected them for a baby. His fingerprints were on the murder weapon. Blood was on his clothes. Of course. Only him.

" Freeze ! ," he heard from behind him. " Turn around and put your hands up. Now ! "

Of course.

It was the police and they were pointing their guns at him.

" Please don't shoot," he said as he stood up slowly and turned around with hands raised. " Gay lives matter too. "
