Rhodes had a uniform cop drive Theo to the police station to make a statement while an ambulance took an arrested Robbie Brown to the hospital for treatment. At the station he was reunited with Reed and his friends who were making a missing person report. When Reed saw Theo he rushed at him and gave him a long passionate kiss in front of everyone. Then he told Theo he was sleeping on the sofa for a month for scaring him. And no sex for that month as well.
The media had a field day transferring the spotlight from Dancing Theo the Suspect Killer to Dancing Theo the Hero who solved two murders. They also were focusing on the Brown family Church once the killer was revealed as a Brown. Mary Maude Brown refused to believe her grandson was gay or a killer. She claimed he " was being sacrificed to the just cause and a saint". She was suing the MPD for his wrongful arrest. Or what she claimed as his wrongful arrest. Detective Rhodes took the credit for the case being solved and she was promoted to lieutenant of the homicide unit. She told Reed to find his husband a better hobby than interfering in police matters. Reed was considering her advice.
Winnie and Dennis broke up because Dennis doesn't like Lady Gaga. Then they reunited three hours later. Three long hours later.
Reed and Theo as godfathers attended Livvie's baptism. Livvie puked all over Theo's Church suit.
And as for little Benji Clyde, he was put in foster care because the families of his dead mothers didn't want him. But Theo and Reed did. After a successful home check and references and background check by social services their new son moved into Winnie's old room in their apartment. The room now showcased a racing car bed and many expensive toys. Little Benji was happy to be with his Heo. Oh , and Reed too , of course.
