Sylias took control over their shared body and opened her eyes. She ignored the pain that she felt and started to push against it, growling in annoyance and in pain.

She sensed someone stirring near her and turned in that direction to see Targon staring at her with furrowed brows and pressed lips. She didn't say a word while she stared at him, slowly blinking but didn't say a word.

"Sylias?" Targon asked, furrowing his brows and switching to their tongue. He cocked his head and studied her, setting his jaw while he looked at her. "What happened? Is everything fine? Is everything ok?"

Is Clover fine..?

Sylais closed her eyes a little and nodded before she opened her eyes and stared at him, her whole body aching with each bone continuing to break. "Everything is fine," she said, her voice cracking slightly. "Clover is fine. This is the only way that I could stop her from being in pain."

Targon pressed his lips into a thin line and narrowed his eyes while he studied her. "Are you going to wait until you have fully shifted before you "wake" her?" he asked, and she nodded in confirmation.

"I will wake her then," she said and closed her eyes again, taking a deep breath before she released it with a small hiss of pain.

Targon set his jaw and slowly nodded again. "What do you need me to do?" he asked and raised an eyebrow in question.

Sylias shook her head and bit back a small chuckle while she closed her eyes again. "You don't have to worry about anything, Targon," she said with a small hum in her voice. "I can handle this." She paused and cleared her throat. "I promise."

There was a small bit of hesitance in her voice that Targon picked on, and he pressed his lips into a thin line, not knowing if he wanted to call her out on it or not.

"What's happening, Targon?" Andromeda asked with furrowed brows while she looked between the pair of dragons. She looked fully at Targon and pressed her lips into a thin line. "What is happening to my granddaughter?"

Targon didn't say a word and looked at Sylias, who opened her eyes to look at them. He raised an eyebrow in question and cocked his head while he studied her, silently asking her what she wanted the witch to know.

Sylais sighed and shook her head, closing her eyes and silently indicating that she didn't want the witch to know. She didn't say another word while she groaned in pain, and her bones popped out in a different direction and slowly started to heal again.

"Don't worry about it, Andromeda," Targon said instead and looked at Andromedea with a grave look on his face. "Just know that Clover is fine, and she is going to be fine even with all of this going on." He gestured to their shared body as bone after bone break and became reformed again but this time in a different form.

Andromeda set her jaw and narrowed her eyes. Power flashed through her eyes while she stared at Targon, trying but failing to intimidate him, and the Dragon Warrior slowly blinked while he looked at her. "Ta-"

"Hush, Andromeda, please," Targon said, setting his jaw and narrowing his eyes further. "Let them focus. They don't need you to make them lose whatever focus they have while they go through this."

Andromeda scoffed and rolled her eyes, but she relented and didn't say a word. She folded her arms across her chest and watched the transformation, unamused and hurt that her granddaughter didn't want her to know.

Sylias bit back an annoyed sigh and took a deep breath before she released it with a small whoosh. "Tell her that Clover will explain everything to her later," Sylias said before she released another breath of air that she didn't know she was holding because of the pain.
