"Always been you."

*

"Han.. I have always been yours." I said and he pulled me into a hug, a very tight hug. I hugged him back and felt the tears slid down my cheeks as I do so. I heard his light snivel which made me realize he's crying too.

I mean, it had been so confusing and so hard for both of us but I knew it was harder for him. What have I done all these years anyway, hide from him, almost tried to kidnap Jihoon away, everything.

"I love you.."

~

I woke up around midnight and saw that I was alone at the bed, Jeonghan wasn't there and so I slowly trudged my way out of the room and saw the light coming from the other room where Aaron is sleeping, the door was slightly open so I tried to peek in and saw a Jeonghan sitting by the bed where Aaron is lying down. He covered him with the blanket and dimmed the lights on low so it wouldn't be too bright for Aaron.

"You'll get used to be here, I'm sorry you have to know it this way—"

"No problem, thanks dad."

D-Dad..? How fast did he gotten used to call him Dad?

I quickly ran back to bed and pretended to be sleeping when Jeonghan was about to leave Aaron's room to go back to our bed.

He sat beside me and covered me with the sheets and brushed my hair back so he could see my face. Dang, i hope i don't laugh.

"Aaron wasn't used to the house so he couldn't sleep and I tried to read him a bedtime story that Jihoon used to love." He said. So he knows I'm awake.

I slowly and embarrassingly sat on the bed and avoided his gaze towards me.

"Jeon contacted me through everything, all your accounts and Aaron's." He said and I awkwardly nodded and I heard him chuckled.

"Do you wanna go downstairs and have some milk? I'll make some for you so you can sleep better." He said and stood up, laying his palm for me which I held on to and we slowly walked our way downstairs.

I'm quietly sitting on the dining table while he's busy making some milk and snacks for the two of us. I can't help but stare at his masculinity while he work on the kitchen, it reminded me of those times that I used to just sit back and watch him make food for us.

"Jihoon might call soon, do you want to talk to him?" Jeonghan suddenly asked and placed down the glass of milk and a plate of cookies in front of me.

"U-uhh... I... N-No." I stattered. He was surprised at my respond but then nodded.

"It's okay, let me know anytime you'd like to talk to him." He replied and I nodded.

It had been quiet for some time while we snack on the cookies and him drinking his coffee while I drink my milk. I couldn't think of any topic to open up because this is just too awkward, it's like he isn't even feeling any of it ever since we came in.

"Are you okay?" He asked and I awkwardly smiled and nodded.

"I know you're not used to this. After all, we've just got back together and it's been years."

"But it's not like we're not together before all of this anyway. It's alright to adjust yourself from all of this..."

"And uhmm..." He paused which made me look at him as he hesitated for a moment to speak but then suddenly looked at me with a curious look.

"Is Aaron really... u-uh.. not your child with Jeon?" He asked which surprised me. I know nothing happened between me and Wonwoo so I can answer him confidently but opening popping the question randomly quite surprised me.

"I know you wouldn't believe it. But he surely is yours. I'll run a DNA test for him and you if you still want a proof." I said and he leaned on his chair and placed his right hand on the other chair's backrest.

"Hmm.. you can easily tamper it if you'd like to hide the fact that it's Jeon's. But I'd like to do it myself if you don't have anything up in your sleeves." He said which kinda backed me down. I mean, I wasn't afraid of him running a DNA test with Aaron alone.

"Sure.. have it your way." I replied and he pressed his lips on a straight line and sighed.

"I'll just light up one stick on the veranda, you finish your milk then quickly go straight to bed." He said and stood up, picking up a box of cigarettes and lighter on the cupboard and went upstairs to the veranda.

~

I finished my glass of milk and washed the dishes and quietly went to the veranda to see Jeonghan smoking. His hands are resting on the handrails as he watches the night sky. It looked majestic in my eyes how he looks in that posture blending in with the night sky view.

"I think it's bad for you." I spoke which made him look at me.

"Really? Don't you think leaving us isn't?" He said and I sighed and stood beside him, looking at the sky as well.

"I'm sorry for everything. I wish it didn't have to happen and lead us to this situation, especially you." I said and looked at him. He sighed and took a puff of his cigarette.

"Why did you came back?" He asked while his eyes are still fixated on nowhere.

"If you didn't gave me that week, maybe I wouldn't be here with Aaron." I replied and he scoffed.

"It's a small world isn't it? How many times that you tried to get rid of me, how many times I've lost you, but you still get to stick out and come around me." He said and threw away the cigarette butt and faced me, looking down at me with a small smirk appearing on his lips.

"It's not that I'm being manipulative, but don't you think you're really carved out to be mine after all?"

"J-Jeonghan.."

"Yes, darling. Everytime your presence was running away from me, i just get the feeling that anytime that pretty little face of you will come back. Unless you really died that day."

"I would have believed that someone that looks just like you suddenly appeared to be mine again and relive the memories I had with you but... look."

"It's always been you."
