"Vow."

Hana's POV

I forgot to track how many days we've spent in the Hospital before we finally got discharged. I'm fully recovered now and my knees feel stronger as days go by—unlike Jeonghan.

He suffered the most and he told me he couldn't count how many times his knees were bashed back then. He can walk but with a help of a cane just for now that he's still recovering.

We're currently standing at the grave of this wonderful person who had been with me since then. I can proudly say he's been a very good friend until his last breath. I placed down a bunch of flowers above his grave and lit a candle in front of it. Tears couldn't help but fall as I watched it longer.

"He's been the bravest. I can't remember how many times he has saved my life."

"Heaven took him too early."

"Would I ever see that person again? Probably not here but hopefully, in the afterlife I could."

After contemplating for a few hours beside Mingyu's grave, Old Han drove me somewhere I wasn't familiar with. I asked him where we're off to and he just said Jeonghan called to him to drive me to Jisoo's garden.

"Would you like to drop by to Seokmin's Parlor, Miss Hana?" Old Han asked, peeking to me at the rearview mirror and I just shook my head and decided to fix myself instead.

"What's the occasion, Old Han? I didn't got any notice that we're off to somewhere aside Mingyu's grave."

"I didn't knew either, Miss Hana. Mr. Yoon just called awhile ago that I should drop you there." He said with a playful smile appearing from his lips that got me raising a brow at him. Weird.

After a few minutes, we finally arrived at Jisoo's garden. The front yard is the Nursery area where are giant 'No Entry' sign is posted. Old Han escorted me to the pathway that leads to the back of the cabin in front and I was shocked to see the pathway with rose petals. I was confused and I looked back at Old Han and he has this proud smile plastered on his lips as he watched me.

"W-What's this?"

He gestured for me to follow the rose petals and it led me towards a giant rose arc and I saw Aaron and Jihoon there, holding a bouquet of daisies and they happily handed it to me when I walked through the arc.

"You look beautiful, Mommy."

I continued to walk my way, following the petals and my heart couldn't stop beating so fast as I slowly approached the end of the trail. I looked up and saw these men in suits all lined up in a straight, horizontal line and they're all smiling at me. Jisoo, Seungcheol, Daiki, Moon, Hyungwon.

Suddenly, a slow and melancholic song started playing and the men in suits revealed the man behind them. All nicely dressed up in a neat, grey suit and a white rose in his pocket, his hair long and neatly tied into a pony, although struggling, he slowly made his way towards me with the help of his cane and tears suddenly slipped down my cheeks as I watched him, warmly smiling at me.

"J-Jeonghan..."

Using his cane, he helped himself kneel down on one knee as he reached out for a small box in his pocket, he opened it and a diamond ring was in it. The sunlight beamed on it making a flare of dark blue light shine that caught me in a state of shock.

"Hana Choi, from the moment our paths first intertwined, a lifetime ago it seems, you've been the constant star in my ever-shifting sky. You were there when I was lost, when I was uncertain, a beacon of unwavering warmth. You saw the shadows that lingered within me, and instead of turning away, you reached out, offering your hand, your heart, your unwavering belief. You, Hana, have been the very essence of my strength, the gentle breeze that carries me when I feel I can no longer fly."

"We've walked through fields of sunshine and navigated storms that threatened to tear us apart. We’ve shared laughter that echoed through our home, and we’ve held each other through tears that seemed to never cease. We’ve built a world, a sanctuary of love and resilience, brick by precious brick, with the foundation being our shared memories, our unwavering bond."

"You bore our children, these radiant souls who are the living embodiment of our love, and you nurtured them with the same gentle strength that you've always shown me. You’ve given me a family, a legacy, a reason to face each new day with hope in my heart." He paused for a second, hesitating for awhile and then smiled at me, although it seemed bitter, he continued.

"The loss of Mingyu, my brother, my confidante, was a wound that cut deep, a darkness that threatened to consume us. But even in that profound grief, you stood beside me, a pillar of unwavering support. You reminded me that even in the face of despair, love endures, that life, in its fragility, is a gift to be cherished. You taught me, with every gentle touch, every whispered word, the true meaning of resilience. You showed me that even with a piece of my heart forever missing, we could still create a tapestry of joy, woven with threads of remembrance and love."

"You, Hana, are the embodiment of every dream I ever dared to have. You are the warmth of the sun on my skin, the gentle rhythm of the rain, the comforting embrace of a familiar melody. You are the home my soul has always yearned for. You are the reason I breathe, the reason I smile, the reason I believe in the beauty of tomorrow. Every day I spend with you feels like a miracle, a precious gift that I never want to take for granted."

"And so, here, with the echoes of our shared past whispering around us, I kneel before you, my heart laid bare. Hana, my love, my life, my forever… will you grant me the immeasurable honor of becoming my wife? Will you allow me to spend the rest of my days cherishing you, protecting you, loving you with every fiber of my being? Will you let us continue to build our story, a story of love, of loss, of resilience, a story that will echo through generations?"

"Hana.."

Jeonghan Yoon...

"Will you marry me?"

I paused for awhile, processing every word he said, every bit of it made me tear and it seemed to unbelievable how, me, just a normal, introverted person met this man. I never though that this is how my life would be, to be with someone like this man who had given me more than what I deserve.

For years of missing your touch, your kiss, your everything, I never thought fate would work its way to lead our steps back onto each other's arms, I could never wish for anything else more than this.

Jeonghan Yoon, my love...

"Yes."
