"Appearance."

"I'm sorry, but.. w-where did you find that piece of page?" I asked and Jeonghan sighed, looking outside the window and hesitated before looking back at me.

"You see.."

"I have been collecting the magazines and books you published." He said and my eyes widened. He wasn't looking at me when he said those words but I could see the emotions through his eyes.

"At every books you made, you gave a lot of what's been building up inside your mind. And.."

"There's thing one book that I really noticed that something was off." He said and held out the paper to me.

"In the book, you told 'My life had just been a roller coaster of events. I fell, I stood up, I fell in love, I bore, I left.'. And the next phrases didn't seem to connect to the quote." He said and I looked at the page he held out.

It quotes;

For the life I lived was the best I had. It may be not worth living sometimes but there's always something that makes you live it a bit more and see the beauty to it.

And that beauty was shown to me by that one particular person. He loved me all the days of my life, even when life didn't seem worth living anymore.

And when I looked at him everytime, I always just want to tell him...

"My life was worth living... Because It's you." Jeonghan said, memorizing the last phrase as he looked at me.

I couldn't believe it, that he would realize it. I never thought he would think that far and read my mind. He's always been... the genius and courageous person I have always known.

"You've made that book dedicating it to me. But you didn't continued it when you realized the ripped page was torn." He said, looking straight into my eyes without a single emotion. A tear slid down my cheek as I looked at his eyes. He seemed to be worried why I'm tearing up which made me bitterly smile at him.

"J-Jeonghan.. I-I'm so speechless..."

"What do you mean?"

"After all this time, you've known me like you can read my mind. You noticed the slightest changes and even that work I made years ago." I said and tears continued to consecutively fall.

"I'm so dumb, aren't I? I left the life I had with you before and thought I could live it a little better if I'm starting anew—"

"No, you're not."

"What do you mean, no? I deeply regret what I did."

"But you still kept up to us, didn't you?" He asked that made me look at him and hesitatingly nodded.

"Because a mother... never forgets."

Evening came and we just had dinner. I'm currently at the sink washing the dishes and Aaron is in his room, playing. Jeonghan excused himself that he'll be answering a call just in case I come and look for him.

I really am so surprised how he knew. Unless...

I placed down the newly washed plate I'm holding and fell on a deep thought.

"What's on your mind? You seem spaced out." Jeonghan suddenly appeared at the kitchen entrance and I got hit back into reality. I shook my head and smiled as I walked towards him.
