The sunlight is hurting my eyes. I opened my eyes before sitting up. I looked around the room and found no one.

I guess Eiser leaves? He might be downstairs.

I climb down the bed before taking a shower inside the bathroom. After that, I opened my wardrobe.

What should I wear today?

I want to do archery today, so I guess shirt and pants? It isn't the first time Eiser saw me in them, right? Since our first meeting is literally me wearing them plus the sweats.

I tied my hair into a ponytail before heading downstairs. The servant who was in charge of cleaning greeted me, so I greeted her back. I remember that she was one of the first people who greeted me when I walked into this house.

It was hard being the hidden child of the Serenity. I chuckles, "I really miss your cupcakes," I pouted, whining at her. The servant giggled, "I will make them for you if you want" I nodded my head "I love them"

"I am glad that you did"

"Oh! Make it extra for Eiser, okay?"

She was stunned "Huh? Sir Eiser? But he doesn't like sweets things"

Oh, really? I guess I haven't yet learned what he likes and dislikes.

I patted the servant head, "Anyways, thank you. I appreciated it" I walked past her and headed to the dining table. I kind of figured out that he might be there.

"You read newspaper while breakfast?" I asked as soon as I came into the dining table. I don't understand the logic behind it, but I felt like I shouldn't judge, you know?

"What's the problem with that?" He asked, still engrossed in his reading.

"If I don't know better, I might think you are an old man" I mumbled, sitting across him. It's not like I never read newspapers in my life. I have read them before because Mother nagged me about it, but I fell asleep 40 seconds after that.

I guess there's someone who found that thing interesting.

I picked up the fork and took a bite of the breakfast. It was delicious, but the awkwardness kind of annoying. Why is this guy always so quiet? Sometimes, I felt like I was the only one doing the talk.

"I have a meeting about the proposal for the hotel. Do you want to join?"

I immediately shake my head, smiling "I hate allergic in those kinds of meetings"

"I have never heard about that"

"I mean, even if I go, it's not like I can do anything. You might as well bring a doll there"

"Your grandma entrusted you with that"

I shake my head, "no. You get that wrong. My grandma entrusted you with the hotel. She would never trust me handling these kinds of things" I gulped down the water.

"Also, business aren't my thing. You can do it all" I said, standing up before turned around,"but of course, if it's overwhelming, you can count on me" I walked away after saying that.

I understand what he is saying.

But I know how it is in my family. Serena is their trusted heiress. It's not like I am incapable, but I am lacking one thing.

Grandma always tells me that I am too weak hearted.

But I like the way I am.

Humans should have emotions, and sometimes, following emotions is the best method.

I went to the tree from last night.

"Hey little birds, are you doing well?" I greeted them from down.
