Ch6. Just a small injury

.It's been a while since I last visited the bakery. I usually hang out there, but since I moved away, it's hard for me to do so anymore.

I tied my hair up before heading outside.

I greeted every servant that I came across, too. I am glad that they treat me with such warmth, so I don't feel that awkward inside of the house. 

"Ma'am, where are you going at this hour?" One of the servants asked.

"I want to visit a friend"

"Oh, then you should take a car" I shake my head, refusing the idea "its okay. I am used to walking to a place like this" The servant looked hesitant but decided not to pry even further and let me go.

I left the house and walked to the bakery. It wasn't that far away, but I'm still taking time to arrive there.

The journey was pretty smooth, and nothing else hindered it. I am so glad that it did. I really had no energy to deal with troubles.

Finally, I arrived at the shop.

I opened the door to the bakery with a proud grin, showing up after a while.

I saw Ealfrida and Eduart were working together. They looked like they were surprised with my presence. I guess my surprise did work.

Ealfrida pulled me for a hug, patting my back "its been such a long time since you came here, huh?"

I chuckles, "yeah, it's must be hard. Not having your star worker" she giggled, letting me go before walking back to her work. Eduart and I did a fistbump together as our greeting.

"So anything interesting these days?" I asked while putting on the apron.

Ealfrida looked at Eduart. Why did they look like they were hesitating? Did something actually happen during my absence?

".......Algar comes here"

My body freezes at that. I... never thought that he would come here.

"Did he disturb you two?"

"No, it's not like that, but I am worried that he might do something to you instead" Ealfrida said, looking worried as ever.

I understand their concern after what happens. Who knows what else he might be doing?

"It's okay, I can protect myself and I know how deal with this but I just hope he stopped coming here" I walk closer to them "it's must be troublesome to deal with him"

"You have to take some actions, Y/n. I know you can take care of yourself, but there's no telling of the future" I understand why Eduart said that, but still, taking action about this....

I feel bad doing that. I don't like ruining someone else future just because of this. I know what he is doing is out of line, but he is still a human. I believe that he can change. I don't think I can fall asleep if I actually did what Ealfrida and Eduart recommended me to do.

I guess I should talk to him next time I meet him.

"Hey, what can I do? Give me some work, please" I changed the topic.

This is the last tray of the day. I brought it out and arranged the breads at the display case. Eduart and Ealfrida are out buying ingredients for tomorrow baked goods. I was humming to myself while doing my work when the door was opened.

"Welcome to Buckley's bakery. What can I help?" I said without looking who it is.

Just then, I finally saw who walked into the shop. It was Algar. His eyes were wide open, looking at me.
