Ch14. Sun That Won't Shine

A car comes to a stop. Eiser was about to get out of the car along with Y/n when she grabbed the tissue herself. She gets out of the car and walks away. The actions were so sudden that Eiser couldn't do anything. He just watches as she walks away, without her usual smile. 

Eiser saw that the way she was walking was turning grey when it's usually colored with bright colors. 

She was like a sun that won't shine. 

It reminds him of his usual life. How boring his life is before this girl comes into his life. How he was able to let his guard down around her. 

There a many things that she does that Eiser couldn't understand because the way they see the world is too different. It was refreshing according to him because he had never thought of things that way. 

A young girl who looks like a wildflower who has grown strong in the face of adversity shines her light on the people around her. She is a beacon of hope in a dark world, and her light shines even brighter when she is surrounded by those who love her.

That is what Eiser thought as he spent time with her.

Earlier when she shields him from her own sister, Eiser swears he feels something inside him. 

When she asked him if he liked her, deep down he hesitated but somehow, his mouth was able to answer it for him. 

The things he felt earlier aren't something that he is used to so he can't describe it at all. It is something that he never felt in any of his old relationships.

"Sir Grayan? Are you okay?" his personal assistant asked, looking at him from the rearview mirror. Eiser snapped back into reality, he hummed "go ahead and park the car" he said, getting out the car. Eiser brush off the dust from his clothes and get inside the house. 

Eiser went to his study room, whereas he usually spend his time at. The room that he used more than his own bedroom. 

Eiser take a seat, leaning against his car as he stares up on the white ceiling. 

"Did I like her?" he mumbled to himself. 

Eiser shook his head "I already had enough of this" he mumbled again and opened his table drawer, taking out his works.

Tears keep pouring out of my eyes, trailing down the pillow. 

I was the dumb one. 

Who asked you to fall for him? Who asked you to misunderstand his actions? 

I am so pathetic. 

I really wanted to vent out to someone so I sat up, headed out right away. I am so glad that I don't bump into anyone in these red and puffy eyes.

I knocked on the door and it was opened revealing Ealfrida who was seemingly sleepy but once she saw my face, she was immediately awakened. She rushed me inside, making me to take a seat and then she sat next to me.

She peered at my face, "what's happened? Why are you crying?" she asked, I can felt her hand patting my back. 

"I am an idiot"

"Why did you said that?"

"....I like him"

"........?!! Eiser?" I nodded at her guess. 

"Why did you say that? Did he not have the same feelings as you?" I nod again "That's why it's hurt more. I......should have just moved on but seeing him every day is....hard" Eal sighed, hugging me tightly "oh Y/n.....I am so sorry" 

"Did you like him that much?"

"If its hurt me, then I have to like him a lot"

"did he reject you?"

I looked at him for a split seconds "I...don't know if its rejection but he clearly said that he doesn't have feelings for me" Ealfrida smiles, leaning even closer "you know what, my fiancee now used to be like that too. He said that he thought that he doesnt like me but when he saw I was walking with other guys, he got jealous so he ended up confessing to me"  she smiles, tucking my hair behind my ear "do you want to try make him jealous?" she winked

"Make him fall for you along the way"

"But...what if it doesn't work?" Ealfrida smiles "then, you two aren't fated together but I am sure you will find your soulmate. It's just the timing" Ealfrida cupped my face "and I don't want to see you giving up yet. Who won't fall for you? You are beautiful, kind hearted and always take care of people around you even more than you did yourself" she smirked "I am sure it's just needed some times so don't give up" 

"How can we do this things?" Ealfrida smiles "other than Eduart, did you have any guys around you that we can ask help?" 

I stood there for a minute, thinking about it. I didn't know any guys I could ask for help. I didn't even know any guys who might be interested in me in that way. I shook my head to indicate that I didn't know anyone.

"Other than victor and Frederick, of course. I won't ask for Fre's help and asking for Victor seemed so weird" Ealfrida sighed, "It's okay. I will help you to look for one" 

Suddenly, I had doubts. What if this doesn't help? What if this makes our relationship even more tense than now?

"Eal, can...I think about it first?" she was surprised at that so she stares at me but not long after that, she smiles "okay then, I will let you think about it. So in the meantime, if its too hard for you, comes here" I hummed while nodding my head "thank you so much, Eal" she chuckles "You are like my little sister so of course you are allowed to come running into my arms like this" I was so content with that. 

We ended up talking about other things and the aching inside my heart was slowly disappeared.

Eiser couldn't helped but yawned. He take a look at his wrist watch and saw it's already 3 a.m in the morning. 

Somehow, he got this feeling that he should check on her after her nosebleed earlier. Eiser stands up, leaving his study room and headed to the master bedroom. He hesitated in front of the door, not wanting to disturb the person inside the room. 

He turned the doorknob and get inside to see the bed was untouched. 

Eiser turned around and rushed outside. He headed downstairs and went to check the kicthen incase she is there but there's no one there.  It was empty. Since it was 3 in the morning, every servants already went to bed. Eiser groaned, heading to the servants rest room eventhough he had never went there before. 

He knocked the door and not long after day, someone peeked her head out with bedhair.

She meet eyes with Eiser and jumped in shocked. She straighten herself, bowing her head "I am so sorry for th-" he cut her off "Did any of you saw Y/n earlier?" the maid seem still in dazed so she can't barely heard what Eiser is saying. 

As she was staying quiet, Eiser punched the wall next to him, glaring at the girl. The girl flinched and immediately tense up "Did you saw Y/n went out today?" she shake her head, thinking for a few more times "I don't see her at all today" 

Eiser jaw tighten, "Ask anyone else if they saw her and wake everyone up. Search for her" he instructed and grabbed his own phone, dialing Raul's phone number. 

Not long after that, Raul answered him in a sleepy voice. 

"Look for Y/n" he said that words and immediately hung up. 

Eiser clenched his fist at his side, his heart tightening after knowing that Y/n is missing. She doesn't told him where she is going neither she inform anyone. 

It's not like Y/n is the type to run away from home. 

He cursed at himself knowing that he might have something to do with this.
