Jimin looked up in shock as he realized who he'd hit. Jungkook's stepbrother, Yoongi was looking at him with wide eyes, mouth agape as if he couldn't believe what had just happened.
"Sorry, hyung," Jimin said but Yoongi was already pushing past him. Jimin watched the white haired boy practically sprint out of the house ignoring Jungkook when he called out to him.
"Wierdo," Jimin huffed under his breath and pushed back his dark hair to look in the mirror and assess the damage done to his forehead.
He rubbed at the spot on his forehead softly as he inspected it for a cut or a bruise. He couldn't afford a bruise right now because he had a recital coming soon and people were unforgiving of the smallest things when it came to Jimin. He had to look and act and just be perfect.
"Jimin, what the hell is taking so damn long? We're starting the movie without you," Taehyung called out from the living room.
"Ouch!" Jimin hissed as he felt the mark on his neck sting slightly. His hand immediately went to his neck, trying to rub the pain away but it wouldn't relent. It quickly turned into a dull throb but didn't go away even as Jimin patted some cold water onto it.
"Are you okay?" Tae's deep voice suddenly came from the door. Jimin turned around quickly, trying to hide his mark but Taehyung's eyes were sharp. He never missed a detail.
"Holy shit! Is that a soulm–" Before he could finish his sentence, Jimin lunged at him and slapped a hand over his mouth to keep him from announcing it to the whole world.
"Shh!" he hissed. Tae proceeded to lick his hand making Jimin drop it in disgust.
"You're so gross!"
"Why were you hiding it from us?" Taehyung demanded ignoring Jimin's look of revulsion.
"I..." He trailed off wondering why exactly he had hidden it. He did want to find his soulmate; that much was true, but Jimin was scared. He'd been afraid ever since he felt the burning sensation on his back.
Thankfully, Taehyung didn't push it but it was clear he was confused as he whispered, "When did you get it?"
"Just last night..." Jimin looked around Tae to make sure they were in the clear, praying Yoongi or Jungkook hadn't overheard them.
"Why didn't you tell me?" he asked, sounding more than a little hurt as Jimin quickly shut the door to the restroom.
"Because...I think something is wrong."

What the fuck? Yoongi thought as he struggled with the sneakers he'd hastily grabbed as he ran out of the house. Was this some cosmic joke? Yoongi and the most popular kid in school? A boy? His soulmate? Jumbled thoughts swirled around in his mind as he struggled to find his footing. He tripped a few times before he was able to leave the property and run towards the basketball courts.
Yoongi and shiny, pretty, smart, infuriatingly perfect Park Jimin? There was no way, he thought. The marks were probably different. He just needed to make sure he saw it right.
Thankfully there was hardly any chance of them running into each other even at school. They weren't even in the same grade level.
He could avoid him.
He could do it. He could stay away from Jimin while trying to find out if the marks were the same. It would be totally 100 percent absolutely fine.
But proving that the marks were different might be difficult if Yoongi was trying to stay away.
