"what did you do?" i asked as i grabbed hawkins hand and walked to the car

"i didn't do anything there was this boy who was being mean and i just threw my pencil at him" he pouted

"that's not what you're supposed to do haemin, you know better" i sighed as i opened the car door for him and got in

"hi bangchan!" he said

"hi haemin, got in trouble?" he said and haemin pouted

"it's not my fault" he crossed his arms

we drove home to drop off haemin at bangchans house and we headed out to eat "where do you want to eat?" he asked

"ooo let's go to kbbq" i said excitedly

"we ate that two days ago"

"and, you could never go wrong with kbbq" i said and he chuckled

"ok then" he shook his head and drove to the kbbq we always go to

once we got there we headed inside and they gave us a table "same thing as always?" the waitress said

"always" i smiled

he nodded and walked away "the amount of times we come here and they already know us and the order" bangchan said

"good less work for us"

"oh by the way here's your birthday gift since we saw on the membership that it's today" the waitress said handing me a gift

"uhm, thank you" i smiled

"birthday?" bangchan looked at me confused

"fake birthday" i lied

"chaelin you didn't tell me it was your birthday, i would've gotten you something" he said upset

"it's not a big deal, it's just a birthday it doesn't mean anything" i shrugged

"still, it's your day you should be celebrated" he said as leaned back on his chair

"it doesn't matter really, it's just a regular day i don't think much of it, anyways im straving" i said changing the subject

i've always hated my birthday, i never liked it, only reason is because my parents never knew because my parents would just fight everyday, only person that knew was haemin. so i just never cared about my birthday because i didn't think it was important, it's just another regular day

we ate our food and we ended up walking around to the shops that are around there "wait here, i'll be back" bangchan said as he walked away to who knows where

i nodded and looked around the store i was in "do you need any help?" a worker said as she came up to me

"no im ok, thank you though" i smiled and she nodded walking away

he took a while to come back, i don't know where he went but i didn't question it, i ended up buying a shirt that i really liked and once i paid for it i walked outside of the store and stood there as i waited for bangchan

"hey, sorry i took so long" he said as he walked up to me

"where did you go?" i asked as we headed over to his car

"i just needed to do something, ready to go home?" he asked and i nodded

it was already around 8pm when we got home and we wanted to watch a movie so we went to his room and i flopped down on his bed "what do you want to watch?" he asked as he got the remove

"i don't care, anything is fine"

"actually wait here, i'll be back" he got up from his bed and walked out his room

what's up with him and leaving i waited for him to come back and when he did he had a huge smile on his face

"what are you smiling about?" i chuckled and he sat next to me

"i know you told me to not get you anything for your birthday, but that's rude, so i got you something" he smiled

"why? you didn't have to get me anything" i said feeling guilty

"it's your birthday, i wanted to, close your eyes" i sighed and did was he told me

"i hate surprises so i need you to hurry" i said and he chuckled

"ok open your eyes" as i did he had a box in his hand which im guessing was jewelry

"what's that?" i asked as i took it out of his hand

"open it"

once i opened it i let out a huge gasp and put my palm over my mouth "chan you did not" i said looking at him smiling

it was the sunflower necklace we saw that one time we went into the store when we ditched school to get coffee, how did he remember that?

"chan this is expensive how did you afford this?"

"that's not important, do you like it?" he said

"i love it, thank you" i gave him a hug and once i pulled away he got the necklace and told me to turn around

i grabbed my hair and pulled it to one side so he's able to put the necklace on, once he did i turned back at him with a smile

"i feel bad now"

"why?" he looked at me confused

"because this is expensive, you didn't have to get me it" i sighed

"i don't care how much money i spend on you chae, every penny is worth it if it's you" he said as we looked at eachother

my heart started pounding fast again, none of us looked away and i badly wanted to kiss him. "chan i-" i didn't get to finish my sentence when i felt a pair of lips land on mine

am i hearing birds singing or is that just me?

he pulled back and looked at me, now he was about to say something when i pulled him into a more deeper, passionate kiss. his lips were so soft, and he's such a great kisser. he slowly pushed me down onto his bed as he was on top of me

he started going down to my neck as i covered my
mouth trying not to make a noise so no one hears, as he went down he slowly took off my shirt and then stopped "why'd you stop?" i looked at him

"are you sure about this?" he asked and i nodded

"im sure. i promise"
