The tension crackled in the air as palpable as Midoriya's nervous sweat. Lunch break had descended into a sea of hushed whispers and curious glances, all directed at him and Bakugo. Mina's overly enthusiastic whispers about "secret couples" and "ultimate power moves" hadn't exactly helped their situation.
Midoriya stole a glance at Bakugo, who was currently engaged in a heated discussion with Kirishima about the merits of red versus spiky hair. His usual bluster seemed a touch forced, a telltale sign of his discomfort.

Taking a deep breath, Midoriya stood up, his chair scraping harshly against the floor. All conversations ceased, replaced by a sudden, almost comical silence.
"Uh, everyone," he stammered, cheeks burning under the weight of a hundred expectant stares. "There's something we... Kacchan and I... we wanted to tell you all." Bakugo, mid-argument with Kirishima, whipped his head around, eyes narrowed. "What the hell, Deku?" he growled, a flicker of something akin to panic crossing his features.

Midoriya ignored him for the moment, focusing on his classmates. "We..." he took another deep breath, "we're... a thing."
The silence held for a beat, then erupted in a cacophony of cheers, whistles, and a particularly enthusiastic "Finally!" from Mina, who looked positively smug.
Kirishima, ever the supportive friend, practically tackled Bakugo in a celebratory hug. "Dude! This is awesome!" he boomed, oblivious to Bakugo's muffled curses.
Uraraka, a wide smile gracing her face, launched herself at Midoriya, her hug nearly knocking the wind out of him. "I knew it!" she squealed, her voice laced with excitement.

Even Todoroki, the ever-stoic one, offered a small, hesitant nod of approval. Iida, after a moment of contemplation, delivered a surprisingly heartfelt speech about the importance of emotional support in hero partnerships. Bakugo, finally disentangled from Kirishima's grasp, stood there spluttering like a malfunctioning grenade. His face had reached a spectacular shade of crimson that rivaled his explosions. "You extras..." he started, his voice barely a whisper drowned out by the cheers. "This isn't some big announcement, you damn nerds!"

Despite his fiery words, the blush remained, betraying his true feelings. Midoriya couldn't help but chuckle at Bakugo's flustered state. Mina, ever the opportunist, materialized beside them, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "So," she drawled, propping her chin on her hand, "how long have you two lovebirds been a thing?"Bakugo's face seemed to darken further, if that were possible. Before he could launch into a string of explosive insults, Midoriya stepped forward.

"Well," he stammered, a shy smile playing on his lips, "it all started with amnesia..."
He proceeded to recount the story of their journey – the confusion, the tentative steps towards friendship, and the spark that had ignited between them amidst the challenges they faced.

As he spoke, a comfortable silence fell over the room, his classmates hanging onto his every word. Bakugo listened intently, occasionally muttering a disgruntled interjection to clarify a detail. But even he couldn't deny the warmth that spread through him as Midoriya spoke. It was a journey they had taken together, a bond forged in unexpected circumstances.
By the end of his story, the lunchroom erupted in applause.

Their classmates, initially surprised by their secret relationship, were now fully invested in their story. They cheered for their perseverance, teased Bakugo mercilessly about his hidden soft side, and showered them with well wishes.
As the lunch break ended, and they began to pack up their things, Mina leaned in conspiratorially.

"So," she whispered, a mischievous glint in her eyes, "when are we getting a double date?" Bakugo choked on his spit, while Midoriya flushed scarlet. The future, with all its uncertainties, stretched before them. But one thing was certain – they would face it together, as partners, as heroes, and now, as something much more. The journey of love, even for a hero with explosive anger and his childhood rival, was a thrillingly unpredictable adventure.
