Days turned into weeks, the tension between Midoriya and Bakugo hanging heavy in the air. Trains sessions felt strained, their once-coordinated attacks replaced by a hesitant dance of suspicion. Midoriya, consumed by the weight of his secret and the growing threat of All For One, struggled to reach out to his friend.
One evening, while the other trainees were engrossed in a movie night, Midoriya found himself in the training grounds, staring up at the star-dusted night sky.

The memories of his ancestors, their unwavering courage, filled his mind. He knew he couldn't allow his fear to paralyze him. A shadow fell across him. He turned to see Bakugo standing there, his usual fiery defiance replaced by a sullen scowl.
"What are you doing out here, Deku?" Bakugo's voice was gruff, laced with a hint of begrudging concern. Midoriya hesitated. "Just... thinking," he finally said.

Silence descended between them, broken only by the chirping of crickets. Finally, Bakugo broke the tension."Spit it out, Deku," he growled. "Whatever's on your mind, just say it." Midoriya took a deep breath. He knew he couldn't avoid it any longer. He needed to try and mend their broken trust. "Look," he started, his voice barely a whisper. "About what happened at the facility... I know I should have told you everything."

"Damn right, you should have!" Bakugo snapped. "You kept a secret like that... how could you?" Midoriya felt a pang of guilt. "I... I was afraid," he admitted. "Afraid of how you'd react... afraid of what it would do to our friendship." Bakugo glared at him for a long moment, then let out a frustrated sigh. "You think I wouldn't have your back, Deku?" he muttered. "Even after all this... after finding out who your fancy ancestor was?"

Midoriya shook his head. "It's not that... it's just... everything is so heavy right now. All For One, this connection to my past... I don't want to burden you with it all." Bakugo remained silent for a moment, his eyes fixed on the ground. Then, he spoke, his voice surprisingly soft.
"You're not the only one with a burden to carry, Deku," he said. "We all have our problems. But that's what friends are for, right? To stick together, even when things get tough."

A flicker of warmth bloomed in Midoriya's chest. A small step, perhaps, but a step towards rebuilding their trust.
"Thanks,Kacchan ," he said sincerely. "That means a lot to me." A faint smile, almost imperceptible, touched Bakugo's lips. "Just don't go all cryptic on me again, alright?" He punched Midoriya playfully on the shoulder. The tension between them had eased somewhat, replaced by a fragile sense of understanding. They still had a long way to go, but they were taking the first steps towards rebuilding their bond.

Suddenly, a loud alarm blared through the facility, shattering the peaceful night. A crimson glow emanated from the training room they had just left. "What the...?" Bakugo muttered, a flicker of alarm flashing in his eyes. Midoriya's heart pounded. Could it be...? He and Bakugo exchanged a worried glance, a silent understanding passing between them.
Without hesitation, they raced towards the training room, a sense of dread gnawing at their hearts.

They burst through the door to face a scene of utter chaos. The room was engulfed in a swirling red mist, tendrils of energy lashing out at the training equipment. In the center of the room stood a cloaked figure, their face obscured by the shadows. In their gloved hand, they held a vial filled with a pulsating red liquid.

"So," the figure rasped, their voice distorted, "the heroes have finally arrived."Midoriya's blood ran cold. The voice, the figure... a chilling realization dawned on him. This wasn't just some random attack. This was a message, a declaration of war sent directly from All For One himself. "You'll regret this," Midoriya growled, his voice laced with determination.

He may have kept secrets from Bakugo, but they stood together now, a united front against a new and insidious threat. The cloaked figure chuckled, a sound devoid of humor. "The game has just begun, young heroes," they said with mystery in their voice.
