The sterile corridor stretched before them, illuminated by an oppressive white light. The holographic projection of the woman with flowing white hair and crimson eyes – the woman who shared an uncanny resemblance to Inko – flickered to life.
"Welcome, Izuku Midoriya," her voice echoed through the air, laced with an unsettling calmness. "You have come to the source."Midoriya's blood ran cold. This woman, a living echo of the image that haunted his dreams, knew his name. He felt a surge of anger, a desperate need for answers.
"Who are you?" Midoriya roared, his voice echoing in the cold, metallic corridor. "What do you know about One for All? About the red energy?"The woman smiled, a predatory glint in her crimson eyes. "One for All... but a mere fragment of a far greater power," she said, her voice dripping with a dark allure. "And the red energy? A glimpse of your true potential." Bakugo and Inko exchanged a wary glance. They didn't like the sound of this. But before they could react, the floor beneath them began to shift, revealing a hidden passage.
"Follow me, Izuku," the woman's voice beckoned. "Let me show you your destiny." Hesitation flickered across Midoriya's face. The thirst for knowledge, the need to understand his quirk, warred with a primal sense of danger. Yet, the woman's words resonated within him, a siren song promising power and answers.
With a determined nod, he stepped into the passage, followed by Bakugo and Inko, their faces etched with concern. The passage led them deep into the heart of the facility, each step taking them closer to a truth they might not be prepared for. They descended deeper and deeper, the sterile white lights giving way to a flickering red glow. The air grew thick, heavy with an oppressive energy that made their skin crawl. Finally, they reached a vast chamber, its walls adorned with strange symbols that pulsed with a malevolent red light.
In the center of the chamber stood a massive machine, its metallic tendrils crackling with energy. And strapped to the machine, his face contorted in pain, was All Might. "Young Midoriya..." All Might rasped, his voice weak. "Don't... trust her..." A wave of nausea washed over Midoriya. All Might, his mentor, his idol, reduced to a prisoner. Rage, hot and primal, surged through him. He lunged towards the woman, his voice laced with fury.
"What have you done to him?" The woman chuckled, a sound devoid of humor. "All Might has served his purpose. Now, it's your turn, Izuku." She gestured towards the machine. "This device will unlock the true potential of One for All, the power that rightfully belongs to you. But there's a price."Midoriya's heart hammered in his chest. "What price?""A sacrifice," the woman said, her eyes gleaming with a cruel amusement. "A portion of your life force... to fuel the awakening."
Midoriya's gaze darted between the machine and his captured mentor. He understood. The power he craved, the answers he sought, came at a terrible cost.
A strangled cry escaped Inko's lips. Bakugo, his fists clenched tight, stood protectively in front of Midoriya. They both knew what he was contemplating.
"There has to be another way!" Inko pleaded, tears welling up in her eyes.
Midoriya looked at his mother, then at Bakugo, his childhood friend turned rival turned... something more.He saw the fear and love reflected in their eyes. He knew the sacrifice would leave him weakened, vulnerable, but it was the only way to save All Might and stop the woman's plans. With a deep breath, Midoriya stepped forward, a resolute expression etched on his face. "Do it," he said, his voice filled with a quiet strength. "Take my life force... but let him go."
The woman's smile widened as she activated the machine.Tendrils of red energy erupted from it, wrapping around Midoriya and draining the life force from his very core. A scream tore from his throat, a sound of raw agony and desperate sacrifice.Bakugo lunged forward, his fury reaching a boiling point, but Inko held him back, tears streaming down her face. They could only watch in horror as Midoriya, his body glowing a sickly red, fueled the machine's awakening.
