Satoru was pretty overjoyed right now.
Part of it was the lingering feeling of you calling him Satoru. Every night, he had to hold a pillow over his face as he remembered it and every morning he smiled widely the second he woke up, because he immediately thought about it.
If anyone was stalking him, they'd be very creeped out by the man.
The biggest reason why he was so happy right now, however, was the fact that Kiyo was staying with him for a day. All day. When you had seperated, there was a mutual agreement to how raising Kiyo would go. Most days, you would be with her, because Satoru's schedule was too unpredictable.
But on days where you had to go somewhere, Satoru would clear his schedule.
And this was one of those days.
You were travelling up north to visit your family, and it was an overnight trip, so Satoru would be taking care of Kiyoko for that entire period of time.
While Satoru had reassured you that he could clear his schedule, and that you didn't need Shoko or Nanami to babysit his own daughter, he unfortunately had lied a tinsy bit.
As in, his schedule was not very clear.
But it wasn't too bad! In his terms, it was a pretty easygoing day.
He swung by Jujutsu tech, checking up on the kids as they prepared for the goodwill exchange event. The second years were doing a good job preparing the first years on their own; Satoru was a guide, and none of them needed him all the time, especially for training. They all built up their own skills off of each other, and Satoru was happy to see their hard work paying off.
While he usually got a quick acknowledgement from Maki and Megumi, or a whisper from Nobara about going on a field trip to some grand place she wanted to visit in Tokyo, today he got very enthusiastic students running up to him - or really, his daughter.
Nobara was very stunned - despite being at jujutsu tech for months now, and believing herself to be the smartest first year... she had found out that Satoru had a child after Yuji Itadori, of all people (not that she knew this; Satoru wanted to tell her later though, just to mess with her ego a little).
Inumaki shot Nobara a quick text, letting her know that their sensei with a child actually had this child with a person that married him willingly, and not some random woman who left a child on his doorstep. Panda had to cover her mouth with his paw before she screeched from disbelief.
Nobara was even more shocked by the way that Kiyoko practically jumped into Megumi's arms. Megumi was one of the first people to hold Kiyoko; he held her before you, actually. You wanted him to hold someone who could distract him; especially because it had only been a week since Tsumiki had been cursed, when Kiyoko was born.
Maki wasn't the best with kids, but Kiyoko really liked her glasses and her weapons. So, with lots of caution, Maki let Kiyoko play around with her things.
Kiyoko seemed to love handing Panda because, well, who wouldn't?
And despite Inumaki's limited speech, the two also got along well, since Kiyoko found comfort in his silence (especially because her father was a man with a bit too many words).
"So why do you have her today?" Megumi muttered to Satoru, while the others focused their attention of Kiyoko.
Satoru tugged at his blindfold. "Y/N went to visit her family... she'll come back tomorrow."
"Oh," Megumi nodded. "That's nice."
Satoru had to fight back a frown. In moments like these, he felt bad for hiding Yuji away. Megumi had fought tooth and nail to keep Yuji alive - he clearly cared for the kid, despite only knowing him a short while. In many ways, their friendship reminded him of his and own best friend. But even he and Suguru had a rough couple of years - maybe it was in the kids best interest to get the rocky parts out of the way at the beginning?
