I made it to my room, shutting the door as I slide down it, hearing Aegons words were so sad. I knew about his drunken state and his trips to the pleasure house. But what made it more sad, maybe it was because Helaena was stuck in a loveless marriage. She had her children, of course but a marriage without love?

I moved toward my bed, throwing myself down, closing my eyes, slowly drifting away. Sleeping was my favorite activity to do. Dreams were peaceful, then I could finally rest. I heard my name being called out. The voice was so familiar to me.

" Princess"

" Please, wake up"

My eyes snapped open, a hand maid was staring at me. I looked at her, waiting for her to say something,

" I have prepared a bath for you, as you slept then we will get you ready for the dinner tonight"

I smiled at her, sitting up, the fogginess from sleeping made me want to skip dinner, but I knew I couldn't.

I stood up, making my way to the bathroom, stripping off my clothes. The water was hot, my skin turning red. I didn't mind. I liked hot water. I washed my hair, washing my body, enjoying the water and my peaceful time. I hoped dinner would be okay. But I knew, something was to go wrong and I felt like I'd be caught in the middle.

I always let my hair flow freely, I didn't like having it up or braided. I heard a knock at the door, my mother walked in, smiling at me.

" Are you ready?" I smiled at her, shaking my head as I got up, walking out with her. We didn't share much as my family walked to dinner. I guess everyone was deep into the thought as much as I am.

We made it into the room. I noticed Alicent and Otto were already sitting down, Helaena was also sitting down, lost in her own world like she always was. I sat down in the empty not paying attention, I didn't want to take the seats next to my brothers so they could sit next to their betrothed. I noticed Ageon and Aemond standing somewhat by the table, talking about drinking. I rolled my eyes. My grandfather was carried in, put next to Alicent and my mother.

I realized that I was next to Aegon and Aemond was at the end of the table, also somewhat next to me. I rolled my eyes.

" Niece" Aemond said as he looked at me with his one eye.

" Uncle" I grinned at him showing him my pearly whites.

" Visenya" Aegon spoke, smiling at me. I turned my head.

" Aegon" once again showing my pearly white at him also. He laughed.

" How good it is to see you all tonight, together." My grandfather spoke smiling in pain. He was dying.

" Prayer before we begin?" Alicent asked him. I rolled my eyes.

" Yes" He weakly spoke out. Everyone bowed somewhat. I looked at Aegon and he smiled slightly.

" May the Mother smile down on this gathering with love."

" May the Smith mend the bonds that have been broken for far too long"

" And to Vaemond Velaryon, may the Gods give him rest" She spoke out. I chuckled a little. No one cared enough about my dead great uncle. My grandfather spoke up once again, I watched him.

" This is an occasion for celebration it seems"

" My grandsons, Jace and Luke, will marry their cousins, Baela and Rhaena, further strengthening the bond between houses"

" A toast to the young princes and their betrothed!" He spoke out, lifting up his glass, lightly.

" Hear, Hear!" Everyone said, also lifting their glasses, I did, smiling. I sadly sat my cup back down, I was happy for my brothers and my cousins but what if I never get that? Marriage and love. I heard Aegon speak to my brother, I looked over.
