Chapter 9.

After breakfast, I let everyone know that, I would be spending time with my dragon, if they needed me. I knew, they all had their own activities that they do, day by day.

I made my way outside, to Vermithor, he was surely beautiful. He was resting. He must have sensed me, he opened his eyes.

" Hello, my beautiful boy." I smiled putting my hand on his snot.

I sat down, by him, enjoying the sun, he rested his head next to me. I closed my eyes and so did he. We were bonding. We were resting together. Together one at peace.

I laid with him all morning, enjoying the sun, and my bonding time. But it was lunch time. I knew, he had to eat also. I stood up, stretching. He lifted his head a little.

" I will be back, you eat and rest" I spoke, kissing his head, somewhat.

I walked away back to the castle, I made my way inside, walking to my grandfathers room, the guard stopped me.

" I would like to have lunch with my grandfather."

I didn't need to explain myself further, I opened the door. It was gloomy in here even, his stuff filled with dust, all his sculptures of our home, filled with dust also. He was in bed, his face covered.

" Grandfather?" I quietly spoke.

" My Visenya?" I smiled hearing him.

" Yes, it's me."

" I thought everyone had left." He weakly spoke.

" Yes, but I stayed here, to be with you." I leaned against his bed, sitting upon it.

" My sweet girl."

I smiled sadly. He fell asleep soon after. But I did eat lunch in his room, and stayed there for a little awhile, reading some of his books.

" Visenya?" I heard the door open and Alicent calling my name. I looked at her and smiled putting down my book.

" You should visit the gardens, it's a beautiful day, I will sit him." She took my hand.

" Okay, thank you." I smiled.

I watched as she sat down, staring at my grandfather. I knew she loved him in her own way. She was young when she married him. I walked out the door. I wanted to see Helaena next. I made my way to her room. I knocked, hearing a come in.

She was sitting there with her children. The twins, Jaehaerys and Jaehaera and Maelor. I smiled at her, she smiled back.

" Visenya, come sit, if you'd like."

I smiled, sitting down on the ground, watching her children. They were beautiful. They looked so much like Aegon. I started playing with them. Enjoying the time. Helaena spoke up.

" I am glad you have decided to stay."

" I am also" I smiled, still playing with the twin's.

In a short time, the children were all laid down for a nap. I knew Helaena wanted her alone time, so I bid my goodbyes, and left her alone.

I walked through the castle walls, Helaena told me that Aemond was off somewhere studying, that he has a daily routine. Aegon, she doesn't know. He disappears.

I walked out to the gardens, it was still warm and the sun was still shining. I sat down. Enjoying the sun once again.

" Mind if I join?"

It was Aegon. I knew.

" You don't have to ask every time."
