" Visenya"

" Wake up"

I felt someone shaking me, I slapped their hand away from me.

" Stop smacking my hand away and wake up."

I slightly opened my eyes, it was dark out, which means, no one was up. I looked and saw Aegon in my room. I pulled my covers up.

" What are you doing in my room? Get out" I barked out.

Aegon sat down at the end of my bed.

" Are you mad at me?" He quietly asked.  Why would I be mad at him?

" For what I said and did at dinner?"

" Aegon, are you drunk?" He smelled like it, he also smelled sweaty.

I sat up, looking at him. He ignored my question but I knew the answer. He was always flawless, but he was a sad flawless. He was always so sad. He looked broken, and maybe that's why he was so beautiful. In the moon light, he was breathtaking.

" No, I'm not mad. "

He released a shaky breath.

" I am sorry. "

" I know. "

He moved closer. He was crying. His eyes were all puffy.

" Stay here" He grabbed my hand.

" What?"

" Stay here with me, don't leave me." He looked at me.

" Aegon, I can't just stay here, I have a life, I have a home with my family."

" Please. I'm begging you, just stay. I'll ask my mother. Please. Father would love for you to be here."

My grandfather, sick and dying. I couldn't leave. I couldn't leave him.

" I will speak to my mother and Daemon in the daylight." He smiled at me, pulling me into a hug. I hugged back.

He stumbled slowly, out the tunnels. I knew that they were there. We use to sneak out to the gardens at night and watched the stars.

I laid back down, slowly drifting asleep, not realizing, I was a possession to be kept.

I woke up, in the early morning. I needed to talk to Alicent. I needed to stay. I wanted to be here. I could always leave when I wanted. I wasn't ready to part ways, with my grandfather, him all alone. No, it wasn't going to be Aegon that asked. It was going to be me.

I bathed, and got dressed, as quickly as I could. Before mother got up. I knew Alicent was in morning prayer. She always was. I made my way through the halls, toward the prayer room. I smiled seeing Ser Criston, he bowed slightly, opening the door.

Alicent looked up, shocked, but she smiled. She looked tired. I slowly slid to my knees, next to her.

" You are up early, my dear."

" I wanted to ask you something, Your Grace." This made her stop praying and look at me. I looked at her. Her dark eyes. She was beautiful.

" What is it?"

" Can I stay here? "

" Why would you ask me?"

" Because you're the queen?"

" You are family, Visenya. My granddaughter."
