6. Just tell me

VEER'S POV :-

" Bhabhi you okay na ? You really scared us yrr ! "

The moment Laksh uttered those words, I turned to him in surprise , wondering if he had indeed referred to her as "bhabhi."

But how could she be his bhabhi ? I glanced at Reyansh, who wore a similarly confused expression, but then understanding dawned on us both, and our eyes widened in surprise.

We exchanged a brief look before Reyansh rushed towards her and the rest of the family, excitedly calling out "bhabhi ji, bhabhi ji" throughout the ward.

I couldn't help but mentally facepalmed myself, questioning how the same person skilled in multiple ways to kill could behave so childishly. His actions left me shocked.

So that means she's Aadvik's sister. No ways i never knew she's my bestfriend's sister .

The time' Reyansh reached to them , He suddenly lay down at her feet while joining his hands making her stumble at her place .
I swear I'll kill him for being such irresponsible idiot. What if she had fallen ?

" it's not that big deal , btw " , my subconscious interrupts
But for me it is . What if it'd hurted her .She's already looking pale & weak but still she's looking adorable . That weak smile on her face , but why it seems like she's faking it ? But on the first' point what had happened that she ended up in the hospital ?
Well soon I'll find it out by myself.

I snapped out of my thoughts upon hearing my mom's voice, wondering when she had appeared in front of me. Did she just arrive?

"Perhaps when you were too buzy in admiring her ." , she replied, answering my unspoken question.

" jii ? Na-Nai Mera matlab es-esa kuch ni hai.  "

( There's nothing like this . )

"  Is Mr. Veer Singh Shekhawat unusually at a loss for words for the first time ?" , Maa said whiel raising her eyes at me

" Beta temperature to ek dum normal hai to tumhare muh or kaan laal kyu hore hai ! Thik ho ? Tumhe bhi kahin admit ni hona na . " , she said playfully keeping her palm on my cheeks while suppressing her smile .

( The temperature seems fine, so why have your face and ears become so red .  are you feeling alright ? )

I can feel her playful nature, is she genuinely teasing me? I'm having trouble believing it. I don't think I can stay here any longer.

" Haan Maa , ma-mai thik hu ! Acha Mai chalta hu mujhe Aashi ke sath shopping par Jana tha ." , Just as I was about to turn, she caught my eye and led me to the other side with her.

( Mom, I'm fine, but I need to take a leave because I have to go shopping with Aashi.)

" Veer , we need to talk . it's really very important beta . "

" Maa , is it related my Marriage ? " , I question her and she nodded in a yes .

" If that's the case, I'm ready . It's a Yes, Maa . ” , I smiled at her and her eyes welled up .

" Pakka ? " , she asked as I hummed and she hugs me

" Acha to ab smji , pehli Nazar me he ghayal ho Gaya tu . Tabhi to teenager's ki Tarah Sharma ra tha .  " , ahhh she again started

(Now i get it tha you  experienced love at first sight ,  which explains why you were blushing like a teenager? )

" Maa yarr ,ab esa bhi kuch nahi hai . Sachi bhut garmi hai ! " , I said while scratching the back of my neck
