VEER'S POV :-

Last night was an emotionally turbulent experience for Aadvik, marked by intense crying and sobbing. He spoke incessantly about Dhriti, and I'm concerned about his current emotional state.

I hope he uncovers the truth soon, as witnessing his distress is unbearable. Aadvik's misery was palpable, and I'm worried about the impact his emotional pain could have on those close to him, particularly my friend who considers him a brother.

Aadvik is more than just a best friend to me; he's a brother who has been a constant source of support throughout my life. I cherish the bond we share, and the thought of anyone causing him harm is unbearable.

"Laksh just called me and said all the elders and youngsters have already left for Jaipur." , Rey said as  he approached me .

"Has everyone gone ?" , I asked, hoping for a negative response.

"Yes, absolutely ! " , Rey replied, distracted by his phone.

"  But My dear bhabhi  is still waiting for you and your brother-in-law . The rest have already left. " , He said with a smirk , which was exactly what I wanted to hear. "

" Now, where are you off to ? " ,  i asked him and he turned stopping in his tracks and giving me a tight-lipped smile before continuing.

" Us Jangli billi ko lene or kidhar ?" , he replied

( To pick up that wild cat , and where else ? )

" What ? " , I asked being confused

" Wo  I mean Reet , hehe ! "

" What the hell ? What's going on and why didn't she leave with everyone ? " , i inquired

" Because she had an important task to complete. I'm not sure what it was ? But aunty called me told me to pick that jungli billi from her wayy  . ", He explained, rubbing the back of his neck .

" I can't trust you guys together , kahin bad me pata chale ki meri shadi se pehle ek Banda tapak Gaya ! Nah , I'm not in mood of taking any fucking risk ! "

" we'll go together, firstly we will pick Reet and then Meera ! " , I declared

" Good morning, guys ! " ,Aadvik groaned , clutching his head in both hands, clearly suffering from the aftereffects of a night of heavy drinking.

"So, you're finally up, huh ?", Rey, with his arms folded, remarked  as Aadvik collapsed onto the sofa.

I headed to the kitchen to brew a strong coffee to help alleviate his headache, aware that we had to leave soon since Tulip, who had already called me multiple times inquiring about her brother, would be waiting.

Sometimes, I feel incredibly jealous of her brother. I wish I could smack him .

I returned to the living room with three coffee mugs, finding Aadvik with his head against the headrest and Rey engaged in a heated phone conversation. This man can be so childish at times.

"Here, have some! It'll lift your spirits." ,I handed him the coffee .

"I doubt coffee can mend a broken heart, but thanks anyway, bhai . I was just joking; a coffee is exactly what I need right now." , he replied as He smiled faintly.

I longed to reveal the truth to him, but I couldn't. We both sipped our coffee in silence. Meanwhile, Rey was still engrossed in a heated phone conversation, but with whom?
