Shekhawats mansion:-
Veer and Reyansh' finally arrived at home and their arrival was met with playful grins from the entire Shekhawat family, who were already assembled in the living area.
As they entered, Reyansh quickly joined the younger members of the family , leaving Veer to face their playfull words alone. The family closed in around Veer, who stood nervously, scratching the back of his neck, as they awaited his response.
His mother, her eyes twinkling with amusement, was the first to speak up, breaking the silence.
" So someone has finally started following his heart. " ,Anjali said with a sly tone , causing Veer's face to flush.
Before he could respond, Laksh and Reyansh interrupted.
" So We're finally getting rid of this unpleasant , grumpy individual." ,
" You'd better start practicing obedience, ji meri biwi , ji bilkul jesa ap kahe , ji mai bilkul joru ka gulam banke rahunga . Coz hat's the only secret to a blissful marriage ." , Reyansh and Laksh declared dramatically, before Veer landed a punch playfully on them.
" Come on guys , stop teasing him " , comes the voice of Aashvi who comes towards Laksh & Reyans and joins them
'" Without me ! Finally my dear bhai , the one VEER SINGH SHEKHAWAT , THE one who swore he'd never tie the knot is getting married . Surely I have to meet bhabhi and ask her what she'd done to him that he got his mind changed in first meeting itself . " ,Aashvi said dramatically mocking her brother and the whole family starts laughing while Veer looks at them in disbelief .
" Bhai no more late night video games , huh !" , Agashtya said with pout and joined the trio.
The teasing and the laughs filled the whole mansion , making Veer heart flutters , feeling the love and mix of amusement and affection as his family teases him about his marriage. Deep down He knows that thier playful banters are their way of expressing love and excitement for his future .
The sweet banters between the siblings goes on during the dinner too .
VEER'S POV :-
Following dinner, I returned to my room to freshen up and was standing on the balcony when dad appeared beside me, a proud smile spreading across his face.
" Well , looks like our son is all grown up now ! About time ,huh ? " , dad said looking towards the sky
" I guess you guys wanted this as well ! " , I said as he settle him down on the couch and leaned back , studying me with a twinkle in his eyes
" You know, I still remember the day you were born . 29 years back ; Holding you in my arms for the first time, I never imagined we'd be here , planning your wedding ." , I smiled listening him , feeling a surge of warmth in his words .
" It's crazy how time flies , beta . But you've grown into a fine man And I know you're going to make an amazing husband . I know Meera is going to be the luckiest wife to have a responsible and loving husband like you . I know you won't let me down, no matter what ! " , he said
