Chapter 42

Eileen's POV

"Are you doing alright Eileen?" Mrs.Chan asks as I help her organize the backyard of her home that is filled with kids toys for my baby shower and gender reveal that is going to happen in afew hours. Micah and I decided not to do a very big party so we just decided to have it at his childhood home with our families and the backyard is big enough for it since it consists of a full basketball court, an outdoor kitchen and a swimming pool with enough space to fit in about one hundred people.

"Yes I am."

"You should be resting up. You've been on your feet for a long time ."

"No it's fine, I've been sleeping all day so the least I could do for my body is get it to work." I rub my seven months belly while holding one of baby Kaia's dolls and placing it in the box filled with more of her dolls .

"But don't overwork yourself my dear." She lectures and I nod my head in agreement.

"Mama?" Baby Kaia walks to her mother with a pout on her face.

"Yes baby?"

"Where are you puttin' my dolliee?" She tilts her head.

"I'm just organizing them. We're having a party later on remember?."

"Party? With cake?"

"Yes baby. A party with cake. You're going to be an auntie." She pinches her chubby cheeks lightly making her giggle.

"Auntie." She mumbles then walks back into the house holding her doll.

"I think you've helped enough my dear, just get back into the house and rest up. We've got some people coming to decorate the place and by 7pm, we'll be knowing whether I'm getting a grandson or granddaughter."

"Alright, let me check on Amy's progress on the cupcakes."

Walking into the mansion, I head to the kitchen passing by Kaia who is playing with Killian.
"Hi Killian."

"Hi Eileen, you're so fat." He says and I roll my eyes because he's been telling that to me ever since I started showing.

"Shut up Killian." Kailyn walks into the living room while holding her braids in a high ponytail scolding her brother. "You're gorgeous E." She gives me a brief hug that I return.

"Thank you. I'll see you guys later on." I walk into the modern kitchen where Amy is decorating the cupcakes with Kalia and Kaiden. The twins decided to visit home since we're having a baby shower and a gender reveal party all at once and Micah wanted them around.

"Looks good." I inspect the cupcakes and my mouth waters when I look at the chocolate ones.

"Thank you. We're trying to finish this up in the next ten minutes." Amy squishes more cream on the pink colored cupcakes. They've made pink, blue and chocolate cupcakes.

"Can I have one?"

"Only one." Kalia says sternly while giving me a plate and placing the pink colored cupcake but I grimace.

"I want the chocolate one."

"When did beggars become choosers?" Kaiden smirks making me roll my eyes.

"Who still says that? Here you go Eileen." His twin sister hands me the chocolate cupcake that I eat happily then wash it down with a glass of milk.

"Leen Leen?" Baby Kaia walks to me and pokes my leg so I pick her up and place her on the kitchen counter.

"What is it?" I push her curls out of her face.

"I sleepy." She yawns then places her head on my chest.
