Chapter 13

Eileen's POV

The following morning.

"Babe." Micah shakes me lightly but I ignore him trying to get some more minutes of sleep and also ignoring him purposely . "Baby get up." He says while kissing my face.

"Go away Micah." I mumble and turn the other side.

"It's almost noon baby and I have to go to court to prepare for the game also, mom and them are coming."

"I'll get up when you leave." I mumble lowly and I hear him kiss his teeth.

"Fine I'm sorry for walking out yesterday." He expresses and I just cover myself more. "I'm going to go because I'm late, I'll see you in the evening." He says and I feel the bed loose it's deep then the bedroom door closes.

Micah's walking out on us talking is so annoying. He walked out yesterday when we were having a conversation and later came back and just got to bed without even addressing the situation . I thought he'd gone to smoke with Diego but I didn't smell anything on him so I'm assuming he didn't smoke because of his game today. So waking up today morning, I wasn't in the mood of going at it with him so the only solution I have is to ignore him.

"I made breakfast, it's in the microwave." He comes back to the room and I hear him shuffle around the room till he comes back to the bed and pulls the covers off me slowly then he kisses my temple. "I love you." He says but i ignore him again and he sighs loudly then leaves.

After about an hour, I get out of bed and do my morning skincare routine then shower and then head to the kitchen to have breakfast or brunch in this case. Amy comes to the apartment and she serves herself some food and sits next to me.

"Well, help yourself to some food, why don't you?and good afternoon, yes I slept well, thank you for asking " I tell her and she waves me off.

"Oh shush, you're dating a freaking chef and you don't want to share your meals with me. Mean ass bitch." She mumbles the last three words but making sure I hear her.

"Why are you here anyway?"

"Can't I see my best friend?" She retorts with her mouth full of food making me shake my head.

"No, you could wait for me to go to my dorm." I reply while washing my plate.

"You're so mean woman." She says while rolling her eyes. "But I knew you were here and I knew that Micah has practice so I came here knowing he cooked." She shrugs and I pour us some juice.

"So you're a stalker now?"

"Bitch, don't get ahead of yourself, you're not that special." She says playfully making me laugh at her. "But, Owen told me they had practice so I figured you were here alone."

"You now talk to him?"

"I've always talked to him." She finishes her food and washes her plate.

"Sure you do." I reply as we walk to the living room.

"It's like your man owns this whole building." She says while taking pictures of us.

"It's just that his security is around, I guess." I answer not really knowing what to say.

A knock at the door prompts me to get up and walk over to it and open it immediately because I know the guys downstairs don't let anyone in. I still wonder what's the deal with all the security.

"Hey Kalia." I pull her into a hug and her brother follows right behind her and he pulls me into a hug.

"Hi E." Kalia replies as she walks to where Amy is and I follow her as Kaiden walks to the kitchen and directly to the fridge.
