Eileen's POV"Wake up." I feel Micah lightly tapping my thigh. I open my eyes and find him with his phone up as if he's taking a picture but I know he wouldn't since I'm practically naked.
"Morning." I tell him as he puts his phone on the bed and I notice he's already dressed.
"It's noon baby, you gotta get ready, we have brunch with mom and them in the next thirty minutes."
"Alright." I reply while getting up and walking to the bathroom to do my morning routine. I decide on wearing something warm since it's a chilly Saturday.
"I'm hungry, you didn't even make some small breakfast to eat." I complain as we drive to Micah's parents' penthouse.
"Mom says she has made brunch and your ass is slow so eating will take another hour for you."
"But I'm so hungry."
"Stop complaining, you gon' eat."
"Fine."
We get to the penthouse again and we immediately begin to eat and later on, Micah, his dad and the boys leave as Mrs.Chan drags me to her room so that I can help her pack since they're leaving tomorrow morning.
"Like I said yesterday, don't allow that boy to dismiss your feelings again, I know how he gets, it's either his way or no way but you have to have a say in y'all relationship." She says while putting Kaia on the floor.
"He doesn't listen to me sometimes and sometimes he just gets angry when I tell him my point of view ." I decide to spill everything because she understands her son more.
"He has always had those angry episodes but that's no excuse to treat you the way he does, when he acknowledges his mistake, that's good but when he doesn't, let him know, you can't trap yourself in a relationship like that, I know he's my son but I can't wish anything on a woman like that." She begins to put the folded clothes in the suit case.
"I hear you, thank you for listening to me."
"You're welcome honey."
"So, how are you and Mr.Chan?" I ask her knowing I like listening to how her husband spoils her.
"We're good, like always but you know every relationship has its ups and downs but we're good now." She says happily.
"Mom, can I spend the rest of the day with Eileen." Kailyn walks in and she pinches Kaia's cheek playfully making her squeal.
"That's upto Eileen, if she's free you can."
"I'd love to spend the day with you Lyn." I tell her and she grins.
"Cool, I'll wait for you in my room, Kalia is going to want to come but I don't want her to." She says as if on cue, Kalia walks in.
"I don't want to come with you fool, I'm spending the day with mama." Kalia says as she hugs her mother from the back but she swats her arms away. "Damn mama, that's harsh." Kalia mumbles making her mom wave her off.
"Yes, spend time with mom." Kailyn says while walking out.
"Her adolescence is disturbing her." Kalia says while picking Kaia up.
"Like you weren't an adolescent last year, leave your sister alone Kalia." Mrs. Chan says while putting the last suitcase down.
"Whatever." She mumbles while she plays with Kaia.
"Can we go now?" Kailyn walks back into the room and I get up.
"I'll see you later Mrs.Chan." I speak to her as we head out.
